Crew Eatery (Formerly Jessie's) since 1981 — Restaurant in Mississauga

I have worked in the area going on 35 years and have supported small businesses in my area whenever possible. I have been a regular lunchtime customer since the 90's. I am always greeted with a friendly smile and a Hello! by staff. The new owners Sammy, Moe and Mona from day one have always accommodated my dietary needs. When I told Moe if it was possible to make up a batch of Salad Dressing with Extra Virgin Olive Oil he promptly got on the phone with a family member and had them pick up a bottle. To my knowledge they have been using Olive Oil whenever possible in most of their dishes. The food is amazing and my go to lunch is the grilled chicken breast with a modified Greek Salad with the home made Beats. There is no other food in the area that even comes close. As a small business owner myself, I am always amazed how many people take the time to write a negative review but it seems that most people who have a positive experience do not take the time. Please help your favourite small businesses by taking the time to write a positive review when you experience it. We are all going through difficult financial times where a kind word goes a long way and costs you nothing to do but a little bit of your time. To the Staff at Jessie's I will be seeing later...

Amazing small restaurant!!!

I went to this spot just because it had good reviews and was close to where I was. I feel very lucky to have stumbled here since it was one of the best meals I have ever had in a restaurant.

I ordered a Club and all the ingredients were fresh. The biggest suprise for me was the bacon, we aren't talking about microwave strip of leather that other places will put on a sandwich. The bacon slices were the same as what I would cook to make myself a sandwich at home. Perfectly cooked and thick.

I'm not a potato salad kind of guy but when I saw how amazing everything looked and the person offered to put a side on the plate I couldn't pass up the opportunity to have a real, well-made potato salad. And... I wasn't wrong, it was delicious.

The person that seeved me was also super nice and seemed to genuinely car about what he was doing.

11/10 will drive longer than I should to come back here...

While making deliveries in the area a friend of mine recommended I check this family owned and operated, Ma and Pa restaurant out and try the Jessie burger while I was here. It was delicious, but more importantly, the hospitality here was above and beyond.

I was curious about the soup of the day and was offered a complementary bowl of Tomato noodle soup. I’m not a fan of tomato soup but I could not refuse such wonderful hospitality. To my surprise it was the most delicious tomato soup I have ever had.

Halfway through my meal a large smoked brisket came out of the kitchen and put on display. A pleasant young guy by the name of Mo saw my eyes light up and promptly brought out a sample of the brisket. It was mouth watering.

If you want an authentic home cooked meal experience Jessie’s is a MUST try.
