I have never been made to feel so worthless before. Me and my step son went in to get him a blizzard. There was a woman in back (I'm assuming manager) and the girl at the cash. We ordered a small blizzard and a slushie from the cashier who had the other woman make it. My step son didnt like it because they put chocolate in it when had asked for a plain vanilla. I went back and said he didnt like it and he will just have a small regular ice cream in a cup. The other woman comes up and starts telling me I ordered wrong because she made it correctly? Weird because I didn't order from here. So now the cashier begins serving us our regular vanilla ice cream I ordered and had to pay for also but in a cone, so I tell her I said in a cup. This is where the other woman comes and tells me I should have said that when ordering. WHICH I DID. Now my step son starts appologizing thinking the reason the Dairy Queen employees are getting so worked up was over him. I kept trying to explain to him he did nothing wrong, he doesn't have to eat anything he doesn't want. After the cashier finally gives my step son his plain vanilla ice cream in a cup the other woman walks over to me with the blizzard I gave back to them because it was gross and tries to hand it back to me. Never did they offer me a refund or offer the plain ice cream discounted or free. I told her it was gross and neither of us will eat it and to just throw it out. And she tells me I should just take it. I look at my step son, tell him to take his ice cream because we are leaving and NEVER coming back. When we get to the car I tried my slushie. I do not know how you screw up a slushie but they managed that also, it tasted like puke. I called in to Dairy Queen the next day to issue my complaint and asked for them to call me back and I have still not received any appology or anything from them. I basically paid $10 that night to be disrespected, made my step son feel like the entire ordeal was his fault, and not to mention the "food" we ended up with was DISGUSTING!!! Seriously, skip this location! I will NEVER return there...
Read moreStingy rude and not kids friendly.
Came here with 4 small kids ordered 4 ice cream, one for each child plus some food. The children wanted to share their ice cream flavours so we asked for 4 styrofoam cups. Me being 9 months pregnant carrying all this to the patio, unfortunately dropped one cup. I sent my 6 years old into the restaurant to ask for an additional cup, he came back to tell me the lady said “NO” (one word)
First of all there is something wrong with a person if they feel the need to be impolite to a 6 year old child.
I then proceeded to go into the store to ask for an additional styrofoam cup, and the cashier looked at me dryly and said “would you like to pay for it?”. (Usually other Dairy Queen locations only charges for logo cups and not styrofoam ones)
This place is definitely not kids friendly or customer service friendly. I spoke to the manager on duty who told me they already gave me 4 “free” cups. I then came to explain the problem is not that I have to pay for it, the problem is the way your cashier handled the situation and condescendingly spoke down to us for asking for an additional cup in which he responded “how else would you like her to say it to you?”. (Your customer service quality training should not be my problem, why even ask me this question?)
I’m flabbergasted to be receiving this type of treatment from Dairy Queen! I’m pretty sure the franchise wouldn’t condone this type of treatment towards customers who are loyal to...
Read moreI am usually quite impressed with both the service and quality of products at this location in the summer. Unfortunately, today (Monday, October 17, 2022) at 7:30pm I was completely appalled by the lack of quality that went into preparing my cookie dough blizzards. We spent around 16 dollars (2 small blizzards and one medium chocolate dipped cone) and the 2 blizzards we ordered had a total of 4 cookie dough pieces. I am not even exaggerating and I have videos I took on my phone to prove this point, shall the manager of this location be interested in seeing them. Over 5 dollars per blizzard and all we wind up with is vanilla ice cream?! This is not what we signed up for when ordering 2 cookie dough blizzards. There should be adequate amounts of pieces. This should not be something you may or may not acquire when ordering a blizzard. This should be a standard. Your staff are either undertrained or just do not care enough about the importance of ensuring quality in the products they prepare for their customers. In either case, you have lost a loyal customer with me and my family. There are other locations in Mississauga who understand the importance of quality and meeting standards that ensure their customers are satisfied with their business. We will take our business elsewhere moving forward, and hopefully this post encourages you, management, to look into how your staff is operating. Very...
