I canāt believe I forgot to give this lovely little shop the recognition it deserves. I am the worst. A community FB group recommended this place to me, and although I donāt have much time to go here, when I do have the time, this is THE spot. Their iced coffees are STELLAR, they are so flavourful and strong, just the way coffee should be. But the scones⦠oh man, the scones. From what I can tell, theyāre homemade. And what a freaking blessing that is. Theyāre HUGE, and the flavour combinations they come up with are so interesting and delicious. I had a piƱa colada scone once here⦠who even thinks of that?! ILL TAKE 40, THANKS! I believe the blueberry ones are almost always on rotation there, those were my FAVE. Now thatās all fine and dandy, but what really gets me is how kind and friendly everyone who works there is, owner included. I canāt say enough good things about how sweet everyone there is, thereās no pressure with ordering and the small talk is NOT forced. Perfect little spot for my anxious self. This place is truly what stinky Starbucks WISHES they could be. Louise, keep up the amazing work! I gotta...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreVery disappointed to see as I walked in and they have a rule that you cannot use laptops inside of the cafe space unless you book a tiny room for $10 an hour which makes absolutely no sense is this completely defeats the purpose of a cafe. Before driving 20 minutes down there I called this cafe and one of the employees said there was space for me to do work and to "come on in" but did not make me aware that I would have to book out a room for $10 an hour. Next time please make sure to inform your customers correctly and that if anybody calls the store your employees clearly let them know that there is a charge to sit down and do work. It's fine to have co-working spaces that are paid for but to not even have one table and chair in the cafe where someone can sit and enjoy their coffee is absolutely ridiculous and a money grab. Take this as constructive criticism and include at least a table or two for someone to sit down and do some work on their laptop without having to go into a tiny room and pay $10 an hour whereas they could go to any other cafe in the city and sit and do...

The most important thing in a cafe is coffee. I ordered a medium latte with oat milk and a touch of chocolate - it was hands on the worst coffee I've tasted in the last couple of years. Extremely bitter taste of burnt beans, without any trace of oat milk or chocolate syrup. 1/10 for the coffee, I couldn't even finish it. Even a McDonald's latte is better in comparison.
The two sandwiches that I bought were very underwhelming - two untoasted pieces of bread, cream cheese, some raw-ish salmon. The egg salad one was...okay?
Next - this a co-working cafe, my expectation was that I would be able to come with my laptop, and as long as I am a customer, I would be able to work for some time. Not in this case! Laptops are banned in most of the cafe (despite there are available seats), you can take yours out only if you rent a room for an extra 10$ an hour, on top of anything you spend there.
Overall, would not recommend. Horrible coffee, underwhelming food, and a very weird...
