Been going to this Harvey's location since its opening day. A couple of weeks ago, I ordered a Buffalo chicken poutine at the drive through. When I was about to eat it in the car I realized they served me a regular poutine. One of my go to meal is the Buffalo chicken poutine and I wasn't going to settle for less. I went inside and told them of the issue and the girl admitted that she messed up. I was like no worries it was a simple error. She took the poutine, slapped a few pieces of chicken (way less than I've ever gotten) and had the audacity to charge me extra. I wasn't looking for any freebies but if someone messes up the right thing to do is to compensate the customer for their inconvenience. I gladly paid and got out of there. A few days ago I went to the drive through once again and ordered a combo 6. When I got to the window and paid, I literally waited for about 5 minutes before I got my meal. I found it very strange because since I've been going there I've never had to wait that long. Something seems very off so I decided to ask the girl at the window if the management had changed. She then said yes and everything made sense after. As I was about to eat my meal, I realized the patty in the bun were the size of a junior burger instead of an original. The topping were very little as well. I was in no mood to go back in as I had to eat and run. The previous management strived to please their customers whether it be the duration of the order or simply the quality of the food. Sucks to see one of my favorite places go down the hill. These past two experience reflects very poorly on the new management. Its either the staff needs better training or I can foresee a bumpy road for this location. Best of luck to this...
Read moreIâm an Uber Eats driver, and on May 04,2025, I picked up an order from Harveyâs. While the restaurant wasnât even busy, the staff seemed confused and disorganized while preparing the order. Still, I patiently waited, picked up the food, and delivered it.
When I reached the customer's location, we discovered that one of the drinks had no cap, causing it to spill. I and customer both checked everything â there was no cap to be found. My car seat was also wet from the spill, which is highly unprofessional and damaging to my vehicle.
I returned to Harveyâs to inform them of the issue and expected a simple acknowledgment or apology. Instead, the woman wearing glasses (who appeared to be a supervisor) refused to take responsibility. She insisted it wasnât their fault and claimed to have camera footage, but after making me wait over an hour, she neither showed the footage nor accepted any fault. Worse, she falsely claimed she sent the footage to Uber support â which Uber later confirmed they never received.
All I wanted was a basic apology, but instead, I was met with ego, dishonesty, and total disrespect. And to top it off, she wrongly reported me to Uber, trying to shift the blame for their own negligence.
This experience wasnât just frustrating â it was unacceptable. If Harveyâs fails to take responsibility and apologize for this behavior, I will be forced to escalate this across all major social media platforms including Instagram, Twitter (X), and community pages, tagging Harveyâs official accounts and sharing this with influencer pages to show how poorly drivers and customers are being treated.
Respect goes both ways. If you can't acknowledge a clear mistake and treat people with basic courtesy, you don't deserve their...
Read moreHonestly... I â˘absolutely⢠LđVED the food here!!!đđ My â˘only⢠"complaint"/"comment"/"suggestion" is that: the food (â˘especially⢠the #Poutine) NEEDS to be â˘heated⢠[i.e. warmer than whatever temperature MY meals were when they were prepared & servedđ]. That way, any cheese present would â˘actually⢠melt... thereby, optimizing the flavours & overall goodness of the meal in question. For example: I ordered a Bacon Cheddar Poutine & a Buffalo Chicken Wrap. BOTH were â˘really⢠good... but, I â˘couldn't⢠finish either one, lol.đ¤ SO... later that night, after getting home, when hunger struck again: naturally, I reheated my poutine, and OMFGđ˛... that #warm & #melted, #gooey, #cheesy, goodness made the WHOLE thing â˘absolutely⢠sublime!!!đ¤¤đ¤Š Likewise, my wrap was SO much better after being reheated [with all the added peppers & sauces]... I just wish I'd â˘also⢠thought of adding cheese.đ¤Śđžââď¸đđ¤ˇđžââď¸
Beyond all that though, the staff was patient, kind & courteous.
Additionally, the whole restaurant was remarkably clean, extremely spacious & quite comfortable to boot! Indeed, it was a welcome step up from other restaurants: where, the food may've been good but, their dining rooms weren't nearly as spacious and/or comfortable as Harvey's; and, unlike Harvey's kind & attentive staff, the staff in some of those other restaurants clearly had zero interest in catering to my disabilities.
Overall, it was a GREAT experience, and I CAN'T wait to...
