I recently had the pleasure of dining at Keenan Irish Pub in Sherwood Forest Village, Mississauga, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience from start to finish.

Food and Drinks

The food at Keenan Irish Pub was absolutely delicious and incredibly filling. The standout dish for me was the Lobster Mac and Cheese. It’s a must-try! The creamy, cheesy goodness combined with real lobster pieces, made for a truly indulgent treat. The menu offers a great selection of both classic Irish dishes and innovative options, ensuring there’s something for everyone.

Service

What made the experience even more memorable was the impeccable service provided by Jacob. His charming and attentive demeanor truly set the tone for a wonderful evening. Jacob is undoubtedly a gem of the restaurant, always ensuring that guests are well taken care of and making the dining experience enjoyable. His friendly and professional approach greatly enhanced our visit.

Ambiance

The ambiance at Keenan Irish Pub is warm and inviting, with a cozy yet lively atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. Whether you’re there for a casual meal or a night out with friends, the pub provides a comfortable setting for any occasion.

Overall Experience

In summary, my visit to Keenan Irish Pub was fantastic. The delicious food, particularly the Lobster Mac and Cheese, and the exceptional service from Jacob made it a memorable dining experience. I will definitely be coming back and bringing some friends along to enjoy this wonderful pub.

Highly recommended! I hope you’ll have more branches. Downtown...

My family brought me here for my birthday on April 9th. We had a reservation as we were told it was best to have one. We walked in and nobody was there. Not a bartender, not a waitress, server or anything. It took a few minutes of wandering around for someone to finally approach us. They seated as quickly. The appetizers were fantastic and we asked them to hold off on the mains to give us enough time to eat the appetizers.

Cindy T. was friendly but unattentive. Several times we told her that it was my birthday and she did not acknowledge it once. Not even 10 minutes later our mains came. While we were still clearly eating appetizers. I questioned it and she said "Well I waited 10 minutes..." We didn't argue. We just rushed your finisher appetizers and then Ate our mains but we were not happy.

The service was average at best especially with only a few people in the entire pub. The food quality was fantastic and I must say the creme brulee is amazing. I didn't see any white chocolate or berries with it. It looks like it had a raspberry coulis but it was still good.

The cocktails were great and well made I believe by Cindy herself. Points for that!

We will return but I do question the service if...

Went for dinner on Saturday night. Wanted to try this place out post Erin Mills Pump days. Place wasn't that busy, hostess informed that there was a long wait for a table of 2, so sat us by the bar (there were 2 booths that were empty the whole time we were at the establishment). 2 bartenders behind the bar, one seemed busier than the other as the other would frequently take breaks and be chatting with others sitting at the bar or complaining about staff to others. We ordered a Guiness pint, poured horribly! This is an “Irish Pub” and yes Guiness is one of those beers that NEEDS to be poured properly. So please respect the beer! My partner isn’t that picky, but some would send it back for a proper pour. Food wasn’t anything special. I ordered chicken club sandwich which was messy to say the least. Our plates sat on the bar top for a good 15 min before being cleared off, but yet both bartenders kept staring at them every time they passed by. Overall an experience wasn’t anything special and wouldn’t come out of my...

Updated Review: the chicken wings were VERY good. However the Hot sauce and Honey Garlic sauce were not that good. Thankfully I got the sauces on the side. I will definitely order chicken wings again and will try other flavours! Original Review: Nice pub which has the same vibes as the former Erin Mills Pump. The staff here were very friendly and efficient. I ordered the Cobb salad and my friend ordered a French onion soup and Keenan burger with a side of poutine. The salad was absolutely delicious! Made perfect to my liking. According to my friend, the French onion soup and burger were very good. However, the poutine was just okay. One big positive was that the food was brought out fairly quick! The menu here is a bit overwhelming because there are so many options. I do plan to come back again and try other things from their menu.

This place was cool find. Inside it looks like a newly renovated bar and lounge in an old school church. The food was good. A few items were hits and some were misses but overall good. Service was ok. Given we had a large group and 1 server it was very mechanical is the only way to put it. The pub warmth was missing but overall was good. Food came out at a fair time but it took time to get our orders in after we got there as we were already hungry. Wings were good, fish and chips was yummy, Sheppards pie was small but flavorful. Burger was filling. Nachos were a big miss, only half of the cheese was melted and it was just ok. I'd go back for the wings and dessert next time and with a smaller group. Overall good spot and I look forward to going back to check this place out again.
