I had called in on Tue, Jun. 24th to preorder 3 party sized pizza for a kid's bday party on Fri, Jun. 27th. I made sure if gift cards (3 in total), 2 swipeable and 1 scan/manual were acceptable for payment upon delivery. The employee indicated the swipe was fine, put me on hold to inquire about the scan/manual one, then came back to assure it was fine. I double asked to make sure, as I wanted the transaction to be smooth, and he confirmed and said there would be a note on my file for the delivery driver. The day comes, the driver was unaware of the gift card payments, and looked agitated when informed, and I also told him that I had noted this when ordering. First swipeable went through, second one was where the problem began, he said that he couldn't get the machine to accept a second gift card, and kept exiting and going back in... eventually he figured it out, but then didn't know how to enter the third barcode manually or scan. So then I was forced to use my credit card, and somehow the machine was asking for the full amount... All and all it took 10-15 mins. Later on in the party, the workers at the business informed me that they received a phone call saying that Pizza Pizza needed me to call them back, as the payments didn't go through. I saw that I had 5-10 missed calls, and thought to deal with it after the party. Before the party ended, the driver had returned and complained that he had to drive 15 mins back to redo the payments. He ended up just taking gift cards. After the party, I called one of the numbers back, which I assume was the owner of the Pizza Pizza location, and she said it was all figured out. I called today, Sun, Jun. 29th to log my complaint, and the call center just apologized and assured me it will not happen in the future, as they will use this as a coaching experience for the future, and the company guideline indicates there is no compensation for this type of issue. My issue is that I spent the time ahead of time to make sure the transaction would go smooth, and Pizza Pizza already assured me a smooth transaction, but the complete...

I expected the pizza to be free based on their "Pickup Guarantee of 20 minutes or it's free" printed on the online order. I showed the manager the online receipt, and the guarantee statement. She told me it was a "typo", a mistake, and nothing was for free. I Informed her I would be reporting her to their Head Office for non-compliance with corporate policy. She responded, by telling me, to leave the premise. I contacted Pizza Pizza Head Office, spoke to Frohan, only to find out that indeed, they no longer offer the 20 minutes Pickup Guarantee, and they are very aware that their website promotes a policy that they do not honour.

I stopped by the Pizza Pizza location at 2273 Dundas Street West in Mississauga for a quick dine-in meal, and it was a great experience from start to finish. The restaurant was clean, bright, and welcoming. The staff were friendly, helpful, and made my order fresh and fast.
I ordered a pepperoni pizza with garlic dipping sauce, and it came out hot, cheesy, and delicious. The crust was perfectly baked, and the ingredients tasted fresh. It's great to see a fast-food pizza chain still delivering quality food for dine-in customers.
There’s plenty of seating inside, and the atmosphere is relaxed — great for grabbing a bite alone or with family and friends. If you're in the Dundas & Glen Erin area or anywhere nearby in South Mississauga, I highly recommend stopping in for a quick and tasty meal.
