Royal Paan — Restaurant in Mississauga

I have been a loyal customer of Royal Paan, frequently visiting the Dream Crest Road location due to its proximity to my home. Historically, I have enjoyed their offerings and appreciated the service.

However, during my recent visit, I ordered the Rabri Faluda without kulfi. This item is listed on the menu at $10 with kulfi, and I have previously been charged $9 without it. To my surprise, I was charged $12 this time. When I inquired about the price discrepancy, the individual claiming to be the owner responded rudely and dismissively. He refused to provide the menu for verification, stating it was outdated, which contradicts the pricing at other locations.

To confirm, I visited the Royal Paan location on Artisan Drive, where I was charged the expected $9 for the same item without kulfi. This inconsistency suggests that the Dream Crest Road location is overcharging customers and providing misleading information.

Such practices are not only unprofessional but also tarnish the reputation of the Royal Paan brand. I urge the franchisor to investigate this matter and ensure that all locations adhere to consistent pricing and uphold the standards of customer service that Royal Paan is known for.

Went for lunch today with a friend. It was only just the two of us in the restaurant but it seemed it was just one lady who was doing the reception, the cooking, the cleaning and all the functions in the restaurant which was mind numbing. Our food took for ever and the dosa finally came it was not cooked, so it was another 20 minutes for the cooked one to arrive.After another 15 minutes I got my Dosa. All in all we wasted more than an hour for the food to be cooked. Everything seemed to be in slow motion and the lady was not worried or in a hurry. Food is served without a smile . I will rate customer service zero. Will never go again. I am stunned as to how this place is surviving in such a competitive environment especially being in restaurant industry. We go for an eating experience, it was a disaster. The owner should employ more staff to and make operation more efficient. It was a very bad experience today. Can’t believe the worst ever experience at this location, rude behavior of the person at the counter, I ordered 10 pans and 8 Kashmiri tea, he brought 4 cups out of 8 cups as I ordered, after 10 minutes, then he took 10 minutes again and just brought 1 cup, I waited again for 10 minutes but still had to wait, then I lost my control and inquired about what the joke is it? In 20 minutes I didn’t get my complete order! And rather to apologize he started aggressive, and said take your money back! What! I paid him $80 cash and my family and guest visiting from USA were waiting since half an hour and he was so much un professional, aggressive and abusive behavior, finally when i shouted loud and inquired what is going on then he brought rest of my order and said machine is out of order, I asked the.
