I ordered a bacon cheddar burger with fries and a milkshake, and for fast food, the burger was fantastic - juicy, greasy, and exactly what I wanted from a burger. Each component was noticeable and contributed to the flavour which speaks to the quality of the ingredients being used. The bun was warm and soft but held up well to the patty and all of the toppings. I can't speak for the fries as they got soggy during the car ride home, but that's not a knock on them - more on me for not trying them hot and fresh when I got them. The milkshake was really good - most shakes I have are undrinkable through a straw as they're too thick or too frozen, but Triple O's shakes are easily drinkable and taste great.
I find chains are typically hit or miss by location, but let me tell you this location is amazing. Ingredient quality is noticeably good and the staff are exceptionally friendly and kind. I get almost like a mom and pop type vibe - you can tell the staff there cares a lot about the quality of the food they're putting out. This place is somewhat pricey for fast food but you definitely get what you pay for in terms of quality. With coupons its a no brainer. Definitely way up there in my personal tier list of fast food restaurants in terms of quality and bang...
Read moreBought the Tuesday special on March 23: Original Burger at $4.99 (regular price is $7.99). Dressed with lettuce, tomato, relish and O sauce on the inside and a sliced dill pickle on the outside (top of bun). To add a slice of cheese costs an extra $1.50. To be honest, most of the flavour comes from the delicious buttery bun which overtakes the taste of the rest of the burger. If it wasn't for the bun, this would just be your average dull burger. The beef patty isn't even juicy and the burger leaves a salty aftertaste. I definitely would not drive from all over Ontario to Mississauga for the taste and price of these burgers. But everyone has different tastes so if buns are your thing then you will enjoy this burger. But if it's a meaty tasting burger you're after then go with A&W, Wendy's or Burger's Priest.
Gave 2 stars for its freshness, portion amount, bun flavour and quality of beef. Lost stars on beef being dry and flavourless and high prices.
Thank goodness I didn't pay the regular price; it's not worth it, it's mostly bun with a...
Read moreFirst off, the parking at this place isn't great. There are very few parking spots in general, nevermind for a place that's this busy. It seems like Triple O's is extra busy seeing as it just opened and unfortunately I don't think they're dealing with the business all that well. I ordered using the mobile app and still had to wait 15 minutes after arriving. Hopefully the service speeds up as the hype dies down and the staff get into the swing of things.
The food on the other hand is pretty dynamite. The burgers are well cooked and tasty. The toppings are fresh and delicious. You can really taste the difference with the way they vine ripen their tomatoes. The fries are crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The shake was very good and it was nice that it wasn't cloyingly sweet. Make sure to try the Triple O sauce, it's pretty great.
I'm looking forward to coming back here once it slows down a bit and trying more of...
