No star at all. Some people know that I am homeless. The manager of that restaurant saw me once in the parking in my car and he even offered me a coffee and I said no thanks. I was so touched by it that I thought when I will have my money I will go inside and have a good meal. So I did but I needed to send an email to the government before 5h pm, before the person goes on vacation. I needed to gather some scan of important paper on my laptop before to type the email and make sure I have all the dates correct. I told the waitress that I needed to send an email before to eat but she wanted me to order now cause her shift was about to end. I said ok then go home and I will give the order to your replacement after I sent my email. Then the manager came and ordered me to order before to send the email or leave. Don't take it the wrong way I will eat here but I have to send this email first is that a crime? So I wasted 5 minute trying to find something I can eat cause I have no denture. I wanted a vegetable soup but they only had mushroom cream and all the food I was asking for was too hard, even the burger and sandwich. So I said what ever I am leaving, I am not spending one more minute in here, I have 45 minutes left to send my email and you are making me waste my time. Anyway Boston pizza, when I left your offended manager, I went to the shopper drug mart and I sent my email, from my car, in the shade and on time. And do you know what I did after? I went to Sobeys's and spent 25$ on sushi and not in your judge mental restaurant. I will never recommend your restaurant or any Boston pizza affiliation in the world and I will never set foot in your restaurant or any Boston pizza in the world ever again. It is so sad to think that I choose your restaurant thinking I was showing appreciation for your kindness by spending my money in your (for what I thought it was....) restaurant. I realize now that your manager was not sincere and that you are not helping your community in the hard ship. 0000000 star and if I could I would take away all the star you got, I would. But I have to give you one star just to post this review, but know, you don't deserve it. I just want to remind you that I was humiliated in public by your employees, I do not know why should I take this matter in private on your web site! And if you wonder how to make it up to me, I would simply say this:
Ask your employees how can they make it up to the one they have humiliated by miss judgement
and make their answer public! I am sending from another location since your internet is no longer available in the parking. Not strong enough for me to reply to your reply,... Read moreIn a way, I feel like this review is a little more special than most. Five years ago, I visited this place and had such a terrible experience with the service that I swore I would never return. Back then, the waitress barely even looked at our table the entire time. It honestly felt like we were being treated differently because of who we were—there was a very clear sense of discrimination. Despite the poor service, we still left a tip, but we didn’t even get a simple “thank you” or a goodbye when we left.
For that reason, I had completely written this place off. But recently, someone I know really wanted to eat at Boston Pizza, so I reluctantly agreed to go back—just once.
And to my surprise, this visit was completely different. The waiter who served our section was incredibly friendly, always smiling, and even had a great sense of humor. The food was excellent as well, but what really stood out was how he handled his job. He was clearly very busy, constantly moving from table to table, but he still made time to provide thoughtful, attentive service. We were seated near the windows on the side, and it felt like he was primarily responsible for that area.
Even though he was rushing around, you could tell he truly cared about what he was doing, and throughout the meal we felt genuinely looked after. I wish I could remember his name, because he left such a strong impression.
Looking back, I’m sure the food five years ago was probably good too, but I couldn’t enjoy it back then because the poor service overshadowed everything. This time, I realized just how much the person serving you and the quality of service you receive can completely change the image you have of a restaurant.
I would absolutely consider coming back now, and I hope that if I do, I’ll get the chance to be served by that same...

ORIGINAL REVIEW IS BELOW. We went on Canada day, as a group of 5 arriving at around 5:45. We were seated quickly and presented with menus - those that ordered fountain pop (2 of them) got their drinks fast. The rest of us waited ~10-15 minutes (possibly more) for our drinks. This is where it started to go downhill.
We ordered 3 appetizers, one with a different sauce than usual (marinara instead of the chipotle mayo). Not only did we wait over 30 minutes for appetizers, but the sauce substitution wasn't made, so we requested the marinara sauce. it didn't come after 10 minutes, so we ended up eating it without the marinara. It would be understandable if they were busy, but ... they weren't. I'd say less than half the tables had people. About 15-20 minutes AFTER we're done eating our appetizers, a server comes out and asks if anyone ordered marinara. We said we had already eaten the appetizer and she seemed confused asking whether or not we had ordered anything else?! (we had ordered our mains along with the appetizers)
Fast forward another 20 minutes, we get half the tables mains. One of which is cold. We are told our other mains are coming.... they came out when the others were done eating (they had waited about 10 minutes before starting to eat, hoping the full table could eat together...) and one was lukewarm at best.
The entire time we only ever got one refill on some of the drinks (the fountain pops and ONE WATER), and no refills or waters until the end of our meal when the server asked us if we wanted a pitcher of water... I had gotten one bar drink and asked for water which I never received until the end...
