Went to this location with my friends , one friend got the pizza as it is very misleadingly advertised as a small deep dish (the picture looks like a deep dish) but in reality it is sitting on a metal rack that resembles a cookie sheet. He said the pizza tasted like the pizza kits you get at the grocery store along with the Parmesan cheese on top of it. I tasted it and he wasn’t wrong. Then my other friend got the chicken burger that was supposed to have dill pickles and didn’t even receive them on the burger. When she told the waitress, the waitress kept telling her that they don’t do that anymore, she thought my friend meant the fried dill pickles even though we consistently said dill pickle slices. The waitress even brought the menu over to prove us wrong but ended up proving herself wrong. Then I got the BBQ bacon burger, on the menu it said, mozzarella cheese, bacon, Swiss cheese, crispy onions, lettuce and bbq mayo or something like that. My burger ended up coming with pickles, tomato, and onion as well… I was asked if I wanted to keep the veggies on the burger when I was ordering but I didn’t realize that meant all of those as the menu only states lettuce. We decided to try and redeem the meal with a dessert of cheesecake but that didn’t work either unfortunately. The cheesecake has no crust on it and was half thawed, half frozen. Our waitress was also quite slow. Taking forever to come back for our order, took 15 minutes for us to receive our cheesecake (it wasn’t a very busy day and my friend seen her standing around behind the bar). Then come to find out, my boyfriend was charged each time for his ice tea drinks. No free refills on soft drinks? Honestly probably won’t eat here again and won’t be recommending it to...
Read moreHard time feeling bad about a rough review. Went with friends after being told all great things about the restaurant. Showed up at 4 and didn't leave untill 6. We arrived before the supper rush and we're told we couldn't use a booth as it was for a wing contest(happens sure was only asking for our kids), we got to our table 4 adults 2 children under 6 by the way. We waited about 15 mins to be asked about drinks and then had to ask again for water, 30 mins in an we get our food ordered, roughly 45 mins after this we are served and one of the meals is cold to the point where the cheese has started to harden and the chicken is cool. The meal is reheated or replaced in no time and we once again are forgotten. Water was just dropped off at the table along with a pile of small plates and cutlery to be set by us. We finished eating and 15 mins after sitting around looking at each other wonder what's happening and seeing different groups at the previous bench we were told we couldn't use all eating their separate meals. We have to get up and ask for a receipt and inquire about the ice cream if that was part of the kids meal as it wasn't offered.
Good food, my ribs were great, partners nachos we're good the kids meals (what they got) were good for them and our friends enjoyed their food as well.
The service we received was dismal almost pathetic and would have been understood if other tables had seemed to have had the same issue or hadn't been fed sooner/faster from ordering than us.
The experience left me feeling that I could spend my time and money elsewhere either at home or another restaurant and get the same quality food but...
Read moreWe visited St. Louis Bar & Grill for the Wingsanity promotion, something we've enjoyed in the past. Unfortunately, this visit was disappointing due to the service we received.
When placing our order, the server did not explain that once we chose original wings, we could not switch to dusted wings later. This was never an issue in our previous visits, so we were caught off guard. We politely requested just one half-pound of dusted wings, but were told it was not allowed without any clarification or flexibility.
To make matters worse, our server brought the wrong order and insisted that we had ordered it incorrectly—even though she had repeated our order back to us while taking it. We had originally ordered Buffalo Ranch wings, and when we asked for them again, she returned with the correct order within just two minutes. This made it quite clear that the mistake had been on her end, yet there was no acknowledgment or apology.
While we were still eating, the server interrupted to ask if we were paying together or separately, and shortly after, brought over the bill and payment machine—despite us not having finished our meal. It felt rushed and gave the impression that we were being pushed out.
Additionally, the washrooms were very unclean, which added to the overall negative impression of our visit.
We’ve always enjoyed St. Louis in the past, but this visit left us feeling frustrated and undervalued as customers. We hope that future experiences will reflect the level of service and hospitality we've...
