I decided to stop by Bagel Boreal while on vacation, and I was blown away by the quality of this place! The first thing that strikes you is the atmosphere. The interior is cozy and beautifully decorated, the staff are incredibly friendly and sociable (especially the lovely owners!), and the building has quality air conditioning, so you can choose to eat outside when it's warm or inside where it's nice and cool.
How's the food? It's honestly unbelievable, you don't find bagels of this quality everywhere. I had the brisket bagel on my first visit, and the turkey one on my second. Both were splendid sandwiches made in completely different styles. The flavours blend together magnificently, and the bagels themselves are a delight with the perfect texture and taste. Unlike most foods where the deliciousness fades with every bite, these bagels somehow got more and more delicious with every bite! Furthermore, the meals are filling but not heavy, so you won't walk away feeling sluggish after your meal, but you will still feel satisfied and full.
This place also has a great selection of warm drinks that are far better than they have any right to be. I ordered a latte the first time and the special hot chocolate the second time. Both drinks were of the highest quality, and far better than what you would expect from a bagel cafe. I highly recommend trying one with your bagel!
I can't recommend this location enough. If you have some time, go check it out and spread the word! You won't be...
Read moreThis is the best bagel I have ever eaten. We had a plain bagel with plain cream cheese and the Breakfast bagel. Listen to them, they know their stuff. We got great recommendations from the owner. Super nice guy as was the entire staff.
The bagels don’t weigh you down. We shared so we could try just a bagel and the got the breakfast one for the extra protein. (Headed out on a hike)
I got a decaf latte. Originally I asked for honey and he recommended maple syrup. Game changer! It was so delicious. My husband got a drip coffee. He’s a coffee snob, and asked for second cup. I tasted it and it was very smooth. He drinks it black so I know it really smooth. He says I’m a sissy coffee drinker and he’s a little right. Okay maybe he’s right.
The inside of this small place is so well done. He’s used raw wood to panel part of the walls. It really is lovely.
We got there around 8:15am and it got busy fast.
If you are in Mont-Tremblant, I highly recommend this place.
Seriously if we weren’t going hiking, I would have made the husband get another bagel. This time with...
Read moreA quiet and cozy place with a lot of charm.
The coffee is rich and flavorful, and clearly made with care. They offer a great choice of sandwiches - with salmon, prosciutto, or fresh veggies - all fresh and generously filled. The place feels warm and relaxed, with soft music, thoughtful decor, and really kind staff.
Flowers bloom at the entrance, and there’s a spacious terrace in the back — a lovely spot to relax.
If you stop by before 10 or 11 in the morning, you might see the owner baking bagels in the wood-fired oven. The flickering fire and the smell of freshly baked bread create a lovely morning mood. It’s the kind of place we’d happily come back to - for the food and...
