The food in this place is trash and pricey. All the dishes our table ordered were so bad. Starting with the appetizers, the salmon tartar had no taste at all, the grilled octopus was burnt and the sauce was too sour, and the blood pudding tasted bad. The worst is fried cheese. It certainly didn’t list out all the ingredients in the menu. My son has quite serious nuts allergy and after one bite, he already felt unwell with symptoms of nuts allergy. I asked the first waitress if it contained any nuts and she went to check with the kitchen and then returned to tell us that the batter contained a mix of nuts. My son and I were shocked as it was not mentioned in the menu that the fried cheese contained nuts. After she read our expression, she immediately said she would double check. Then the second waitress came to tell us that neither the fried cheese or the sauce contain any nuts. It is obvious that the second waitress was trying to cover up for what the first waitress told us. She just brushed it off by saying the first waitress was new and knew nothing about the menu. And then she asked us to use Epi-pen if my son still felt unwell. This is so irresponsible!!!
As for the main dishes, the duck legs were undercooked and so fatty and the worst of all, it couldn’t be cut/sliced even with a steak knife. The mixed grill was just a mix of dried meat and sausage, and the gnocchi was so gluey. None of us could finish the food. This is the worst restaurant that I have ever experienced and I definitely will not recommend this...
Read moreMy expectations were high when I looked at the menu & pics online. I must say they did not disappoint and exceeded my expectations. Really, really top-notch stuff:
Food 5 🌟 -Bavette des Mercenaries 🤤 🤤 🤤 🤤 I'm still drooling over this dish. Super flavorful, and the fries are oh my god amazinggggg they are cooked in animal fat and I was salivating when the server told me that. Dish couldn't be any better. Steak Frites to perfection 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
-Gnocchi with lobster, shrimp, and scallops. Absolutely to die for. I believe the words "best piece of lobster I've ever had were used"
Service 5 🌟 Our server, female short dark hair and glasses. She was super friendly and has excellent wine knowledge and definitely went above and beyond when advised of my food allergies to ensure I was comfortable. Thank you very much for that. It's the little things that count, and you hit the mark.
Atmosphere 5 🌟 Ambiance is perfect. Wood burning fire going outside as you walk in is a really nice touch. Dark oak colored tables. Super comfy leather backed seats. Loved the vibe. No penny was spared, and it showed.
This was our best meal in Mt. Tremblant hands down. Thank you, and we will definitely see you again in the...
Read moreIt was one of the best dinners we have ever had in Mont Tremblant. First of all, the service was as attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable as it gets. The food was excellent, too. We enjoyed the cold Fois Gras appetizer and really like the fluffy toast pieces served with it. Our main dishes didn't disappoint, either. The Veal Liver was excellent, very tender and juicy. The Lamb Shank was amazing. I'd like to highlight the sauce - it had a surprising mustard "kick" occurring seconds after and complementing the dish and my dining experience - a rare feat with mustard sauce that tend to be on a sour side and usually make stay away from them. Créme Brûlée was very rich and enjoyable, with a masterfully designed thick crust. Wine list was on a pricey side, with bottle prices from $75 up and glasses - from $13. The beer selection was very good and plentiful, featuring local beers. Having multiple serving sizes was also a nice detail. Skip espresso though, their machine isn't the best and didn't produce any cream whatsoever. We do highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely return on our next...
