Thaïzone — Restaurant in Mont-Tremblant

Ordered delivery to our hotel. The wonton soup was too salty and even after we diluted it with a cup of hot water. The wontons were soggy and salty too. We had to pour most of it down the drain :( The beef pad thai was the worse I've ever had. The seasoning was a combo of curry/five spice powder not tamarind..absolutely nothing like.any pad Thai I had. Even the noodles weren't the wider kind, they looked more like a thin linguine that was overcooked..I don't know but everything was off..we threw most of that dish out too. The only decent dish was the general tsao chicken with vegetables, even though the chicken balls weren't crispy the veggies came crispy. And the sauce was an expected sweet and sour flavpur and colour. Finally, the beef yellow curry was just okay... the sauce was gooey like too much cornstarch was added to it. The spring rolls were crispy but the interior was bland cabbage. To be honest, I will never order from this place again. I should've done due diligence and read the reviews beforehand. A local massage therapist we visited, that has worked in the area for 10+ years, warned us not to eat here because he sees the product delivery to this location and said it all arrives frozen in bags. He ate there only once and saw they throw the prepackaged frozen bags into a microwave and then the product goes into the deep fryer. After a few nights of our holiday, we were still craving Thai food - one of our favourite things to eat, so we thought we'd give this place a try because it's the only Thai restaurant around. BAD decision! This was the worst Thai meal we'd ever had. The rice was paste-like and mushy, the vegetables equally mushy and tasteless. The sauces lacked any recognizable flavour and were a weird consistency. Don't waste...

If you are hungry and you wanna have the food delivered home… don’t bother with this restaurant! Twice in a row my order got delivered 1h later than what it said initially, the food was warm-ish, and not that great anymore. Maybe at their resto is different, I don’t know, but delivery? Just stay away! Maybe it’s because Mike’s (the resto) manage their deliveries and they probably prioritize their own clients first, I don’t know.

Update on 8/3: after contacting Thai Zone support like the restaurant suggested in their reply… well, guess what? Nothing happened....
