While the check-in experience at this hotel was pleasant with the gentleman on Oct 19 at 7pm, the checkout was shockingly unprofessional with the short curly hair lady on Oct 20 2024. At 11 AM, I informed the front desk I would need a few more minutes to leave my room, which was acknowledged and she reminded us that checkout is at 11. I get it, my bad, I was running late. To accommodate housekeeping, I left the door wide open as a courtesy to come in when it was turn to clean our room. I’m well-traveled and understand that most hotels allow for a few mins flexibility during checkout.||At 11:15 AM, the front desk lady with short curly hair barged into my room, yelling at the top of her lungs that I needed to pay $20 or she would call the police. This aggressive behavior continued and she kept yelling at us, and at my family in the next room, all while our three children were present and scared.||Despite my efforts to remind her of the kids presence, to not scream, that she was being unprofessional, she followed me out of the room, continuing to yell in front of my children, who were visibly distressed. What was most disturbing was her comment, “Here you have to follow the rules!! Welcome to Canada! This is how it works here!!!” I called her out on the racist comment. She told me to get out. I left with the kids to the parking lot, and waited for my ride there.||What could have been handled with a calm explanation of the checkout policy turned into a hostile and traumatizing encounter. This experience ruined our time at Mont Tremblant and left us deeply upset and traumatized our kids. This is beyond unacceptable behaviour; and this lady needs customer service and anti-racism training. I also have a video of the harassment. I hope the hotel management takes this incident...
Read moreI will give this hotel 0 stars if I could. I stayed with my family there on the weekend of may 21st when the thunderstorm hit. The power went out at this hotel and the whole region surrounding it. The thing that shocked me was that a business like hotel didn't have generator foe emergency situations like this. Moreover the management didn't care enough to provide us candles or flashlights. The whole hotel was in dark with no emergency lights in the corridors or stairs. I understand things happen and stuff like thunderstorms are not in one's hands but keeping your business prepared for it is a must when you have so many customers dependent upon you. I would you, would you ever take a chance staying at a hotel who isn't ready even with some basics for emergencies. These times actually show how good or bad a business really is. When I asked the management for a % of money back she said if you would have been at home then also u wud have been without power. Srsly? At home I didn't pay %250 for my stay ma'am. I had to buy candles and lighter standing in long queue for almost an hour out of my pocket. Just providing a surface to sleep is not enough we pay hotels for an overall experience. So this is a warning for anyone who is planning to stay at this hotel, beware if any emergency situation rises you are not getting much...
Read moreNO HOT TUB!
The website clearly lists a hot tub and photos are posted to show the amenities which include said hot tub. We purposely booked our 3 night ski trip at this hotel due to the fact that they listed a hot tub on their website, as after a long day on the slopes that is exactly what our group would need. To say that our trip was ruined due to the false advertising would be an understatement, as our group was quite disappointed and sore!
The sign posted on the hot tub stating that the hot tub was closed due to repairs had actual dust on it, so the hot tub being closed was not a recent occurrence.
We will not be returning to this hotel despite the friendly service at the front desk and the spacious rooms, as they can't be bothered to update their website or advise guests ahead of time that some of their amenities are not available.
The rooms themselves were adequate, although certain details could have been improved upon such as multiple burnt light bulbs, light fixtures missing covers (exposed light bulbs don't really provide ambiance) and breaker panels having been painted over meaning they couldn't be closed properly causing you to walk right into the panel door upon entry into the room (the breaker panel is at head height).
For the price charged for the room,...
