No communication, no service neither. We went to dine in for a table of 2 but nobody actually serve us, they point to sit anywhere in the restaurant. We stayed for about 20 minutes sitting before I decide to stand up to go at the cashier asked for a menu .. We order a poke poulet general Tao and a special sushi combo 16 pieces with two glasses of water, I went to sit down and after 10 minutes, the employe at the cashier wave sign at me asking if I can come back to the cashier to pay the food before getting it. I paid with tips and all and went back to my seat. It took half hour before our order was ready.. and yet no water has been serve us. I end up asking the person again for water.. I'm just little surprise that they requires to pay before handling us the water. Food was not the best poke & sushi I've tried.. it didn't taste fresh the fish and wasn't very tasteful. My husband didn't like the pokebowl, we went to eat another place right after here. On the bright side, the decor is pretty nice, has some potential. It's a different idea to have half restaurant and half groceries. If I knew that this place is a cafeteria style pick up our own food and serve, take the menu ourselves and pay upfront, I would've gone eat elsewhere with my husband..

Bon…

Be careful with what you buy from them, they sell expired things and if you dare to ask for a redound , they’ll scream at you!

Wednesday night, October 3rd I came to this restaurant to buy kimchi. The owner charged me 5$ for it which was weird because it was very cheap for a kimchi box (I’ve tried kimchi before, I love Korean food and kimchi is one of my favourite side dishes), still I bought it and went home. At my house I realized it tasted weird, very acid. Kept eating thinking maybe it was just seasoned differently than the ones I’ve tried before… as I kept eating, the kimchi had an strong alcoholic taste to it and smell was very rancid. It was clearly expired so I decided to go back to the restaurant and explained to the lady working there the situation. She agreed with me, the kimchi smelled weird. In a few minutes, the owner came, tasted the kimchi and decided to scream at me saying it didn’t taste weird and that it was completely okay. “You don’t know but this is how kimchi taste! It taste completely fine.” I couldn’t comprehend. Does he really think I’m a fool? I then told him that even the lady that was helping me agreed that it smelled weird! Wrong thing to do because then he started screening at the lady “YOU DONT KNOW WHAT YOU’RE TALKING ABOUT! YOU’RE FROM ARAB COUNTRIES, YOU DON’T KNOW WHAT KOREAN FOOD TASTE LIKE”. The owner (a bald Asian looking men in his 50’s) then told me “The kimchi it’s okay. This is how it taste like. Take another one or just throw this one away, that’s all I can do for you”. First time writing a review and what a pity it is to tell you this… I actually feel disappointed because so far their service was good, the lady helping me there was nice and understanding but seeing the owner’s manners and reaction has sincerely left me disappointed.

If they would’ve given me my 5$ dollars back or would’ve just let me exchange it for something else, I wouldn’t be doing this… Worst experience here! Be sure I’m not coming back… Be careful with what you buy from them, they sell expired things and if you dare to ask for a redound, they’ll...

I have been a frequent customer at OMA sushi and I must say that the food is absolutely delicious for the price you pay compared to other sushi restaurants. However, my experience with the service has been quite frustrating. Every time I call to place an order, the cashier hangs up on me as soon as she hears me speak in English. This has happened several times now and it makes me feel disrespected as a paying customer.

I understand that the staff may not be fluent in English, but as a service industry professional, it is their responsibility to address the customer's needs in a polite and courteous manner. It is unacceptable to hang up on a customer, regardless of their language or accent.

I sincerely hope that the owner of the restaurant takes note of this feedback and takes appropriate action to address the issue. It is a shame that such a great restaurant is sabotaged by poor...
