'Olu 'Olu Poké Ste-Catherine Est — Restaurant in Montreal

As I heard there was a second location to Olu Olu Poke, I decided to go and try it out with their grand opening promotion of 15% off which is available for pick ups only until the end of March. As expected from its owner, I was satisfied with the consistency of quality, freshness and ingredients used. I am glad that Montreal East now gets to try their Poke Bowls and know what they have been missing. I would beg to differ from another reviewer saying the portions are small. I have compared it to the other competitors in quantity, and they add more rice as a filler, and most of the time something that is thrown away if not finished, so I believe it is a great balance between the seasonned rice with all the ingredients. MAN I love this place. I've tried about 3 of their poké bowls so far and each one has been delicious, but my favourite by far is the unagi one. If you're hesitant to try eel, don't be, it's absolutely delicious!

Never been in person, but I frequently order from here on Skip/DD. Everything comes packed securely, and presentation is beautiful. You gotta enjoy some miso soup before you dig in, it really hits the spot.

I find other poké spots in Montreal incredibly bland, but everything I've tried here packs a punch with its flavour. Everything is extremely fresh, the seafood, the fruit, the vegetables, all of it!

I haven't really tried any other poké place since discovering 'Olu 'Olu, because I know nothing is gonna hit the same way...

We ordered the Mamba and Spicy Rainbowl on opening night. Friendly and quick service, and beautiful presentation of the poke bowls. Very tasty combination of flavours, though the rice was a bit too warm (it warmed up the fish on top). The fish was fresh and well-portioned. I like how they didn't fill half the bowl with lettuce like a lot of other places.

That being said, the portions were a bit small (the bowls they use are quite wide, but rather shallow); as a smaller eater, I was satisfied, but my partner was still hungry after the meal.
