A&W Canada — Restaurant in Montreal

Me and my wife visit this restaurant and we find out an interesting thing about this restaurant. Majority of the staff working here from more than 10 years can you imagine the dedication level and the commitment. Salute Acelyn and Jonathan two main pillars of this branch.

I can’t say enough good things about A&W, especially their Beyond Meat Burger! As someone who loves plant-based options, this burger absolutely blew me away. It’s juicy, flavourful, and satisfying — honestly, if you didn’t know it was plant-based, you’d think it was the real thing!

The patty has a perfect char and texture, and when combined with A&W’s signature toasted sesame seed bun, fresh lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles, and that classic A&W sauce — it’s just next-level tasty. 😍

I also appreciate how A&W is leading the way in offering sustainable, eco-friendly fast food without compromising on taste. Their commitment to quality ingredients and thoughtful food choices makes them stand out from the typical fast food crowd.

The service is always quick, the staff is friendly, and the restaurant is clean and welcoming. Whether you’re vegan, vegetarian, or just curious about plant-based eating, the Beyond Burger at A&W is 100% worth trying.

The franchise is good, the food is tasty, and reasonably priced. Unfortunately staff is a hard thing to come by, and when you hire old nearly uni-lingual managers who hate their staff and life service degrades. (Insults and reprimand were done in front of all to see, it might have been "friendly banter" but it's unlikely) should have pulled the employee to the side in my opinion.

I'm sure it's not company policy to mock an English person speaking French to accommodate the cashier (in this case also the manager) when the only English term they used is "hash brown".

I've been here plenty of times it's usually a 4★ but bad customer service has been a recurring theme here lately... The food is still top quality.

Edit: after further observation, 10 minutes, it seems this behavior was only with English female customers. Men where served in English, broken English but I appreciate the effort.

Could have been a bad day, moving review...

We've come this location so many times, almost every week. My boyfriend has an egg allergy, so we always asked them to remove mayo and teen source. It's been always perfect so I gave them 5 stars and constantly came back. But now I WILL NOT go this location anymore. I don't know if staffs changed or what, recently they were chatting while we're ordering and keep giving us incorrectly made burger for the last 4-5 times in a row. So we finally decided to go complain, and the staffs were not listening us seriously, just like we are so bothering them, rolling his eyes and making excuses with terrible attitude!! We got our new burgers anyway, BUT THEY WERE WRONG AGAIN!! I am not asking the best service like a 5 stars restaurant, asking a simple request for our food safety, which is extremely important and basic for all the food service businesses.
