I made the mistake of ordering a Buy One, Get One "hallal doner beef pita" from Arahova Souvlaki, for $13.95, without first checking reviews. I have had doner pitas at several other restaurants in the past.

What I received was frankly shameful; the pitas were the smallest I have ever seen, the same size as the extra-small pitas you can buy at the grocery store. Attached are two photos that show just how small this pita is, with my hand for reference. The third image is the item on Uber Eats; it is taken at a misleading angle that makes it seem large when it is not.

There is no way on Earth a single "pita" costs 13.95, and the Arahova Souvlaki site suggests 9.95 for the exact same item. This is a fraudulent Buy One, Get One offer, and this franchise is taking advantage of people trying to get a good deal.

Unsurprisingly, the meat was dry and lacking in seasoning. This was my first and last time getting anything from this location. I am also not the only reviewer complaining about this pita being too small. "Rip-off" is the only word that comes to mind to describe my experience.

This is not the place to get genuine doners - I have had much better outside of price, and more bang for my buck. If this restaurant is willing to mislead you and deliver tiny portions out of the blue, what else are they doing...

So I went to pick up an order for uber and the guy at the counter was rude, disrespectful, spoke no English or French, the place was filthy and the food didn't look that good. All in all I would never go eat there. For 2 reasons. 1 being that the owner or staff don't realize that every Uber, doordash or skip the dishes drivers are all potential clients and should be treated as such. And that they represent the client when they go to pickup an order and should be treated as such. They don't work for any restaurant. They provide a service for the clients. Instead of the client going to pickup his or her order they use the services mentioned above. 2 they speak no French or English they look like Neanderthals, the place looked filthy and they are very unprofessional. I'd rather eat out of garbage can its cleaner. And if head office thinks it's ok to mistreat any potential client, any person or persons providing a service or discriminate against them, then they shouldn't be in the restaurant business and if they are ok with their franchises treating anyone like that then it's just a matter of time that they shut down. Arahova supports filth I...

During these turbulent times of COVID-19, my wife and I believe it’s essential to support our local restaurants that deliver food.

One of our absolute favourite is Arahova Souvlaki on Côte Des Neiges.

The person who answers the phone is super friendly. The food that we ordered, their Chicken Gyro Plate and the Old Fashioned Gyro Plate were extremely delicious and their portion sizes were exceedingly generous. Their prices are quite reasonable and the delivery was very quick and COVID safe.

I will definitely recommend this restaurant to all my family, friends,...

This restaurant is in a very small location on the corner of Côte-des-Neiges and Côte Ste-Catherine with seating for 20 people at most. The chicken gyro and garden salad was adequately sized, delicious, and a reasonable price. This location seems to have a reduced menu, but offered all the typical Greek restaurant foods. There were few people eating in the restaurant, but they were doing a lot of takeout and delivery.

Best spot for a cost friendly and super delicious, stacked plate of food. I go for the chicken plate with rice and a Greek salad, but they do have deals for gyros under $10! Good selection of drinks and open pretty late for anyone who needs a meal at those hours. Close to the Jewish general hospital so it’s great to grab and go. I even enjoy the outdoor seating on the summer nights!
