Jean-Brillant Park — Attraction in Montreal

This park is a perfect oasis of broad green space in the CDN-NDG area. Not too many (but some!) trees and a bocci/pétanque court. There's a drinking fountain that actually works and even a strange little gazebo with public bathrooms. It's really close to a bunch of neat little cafés and restaurants if you want to grab something to eat on the grass (there's not a lot of seating or benches but it feels safe to sit in the grassy spaces) I've lived here for years and never noticed it before. Nice find...

Listen...I walk this park almost every day jejeje 😋rather small park but well equiped for families with toddlers(water fun and "pateaugeoire" 15cm deep pool for toddlers; equiped for outdoor exercising as well, and you get a great patch of grass to relax after.... the park Kent, a little lower on Cote-des-Neiges is bigger and vast with many trees, like my young oak friends are over there hehehe I stay humble and grateful for the barrio and the City...

A busy park, it is always full of people enjoying outdoor. The park is situated between University and Jean Brilliant Neighborhood market, making it an ideal place to take a break and meeting friends coming out from Metro. There are playground for all ages and picnic table too. Recently there is a new construction on the street section for pedestrian called Promenade Jean Brilliant with increased decoration and gathering section right...
