It’s 7:40 pm on July 8, way past my kids bedtime and I’m writing this review from the Slice and Soda down the street so my kids can actually get some food tonight. We placed our order including a pretzel for the kids. Waited and only the adult food and drinks came, and our waiter just never came back. Waited and waited. Husband had to go chase after him inside and the guy was fixing something for some event and ignored him. Husband came back out. Waiter finally came back and we learned that the pretzel order was never put in. And now except for scraps from our now-gone dinners and assurances “your pretzel should be coming any minute” they have eaten nothing. All we get is some quick lame apology about being busy inside. I had mixed feelings about Benelux - Brasserie Artisanale. The mojito was delicious, but it was overshadowed by an excess of ice; I had to request its removal, leaving only a small amount of liquid. The service was acceptable. I'll give it another try to better evaluate the place because, to be honest, I couldn't quite grasp the vibe during my first visit.

Second visit — disappointed. I love the terrace and had a good first impression, but unfortunately, this time the experience was spoiled by a very arrogant and rude waiter. I simply asked for a beer similar to Heineken, and the response I got was dismissive: “This is a microbrewery,” said in a condescending tone. Then, for no reason, she also added “No bike in here” in the same rude manner.

In these times of pandemic they are doing takeout beers only. Personally I think this suites them. When they had the bar open the service was not very good as it was both slow and inconsistent with many options on the menus constantly missing.

That aside the take out counter is great. I always get the same person at the counter and they are great. Always in a good mood, always friendly. Even went there with my 5 YO to pick up beers and they were super friendly to her.

The beers are also quite good most of the time. Sometimes it's they are amazing even (creamsicle) sometimes they are meh (kefir lime). Of course. This is a matter of taste and that's my point there is a selection for everyone.
