First star⭐️ for the newly renovated venue and plenty of tvs Second star ⭐️ for the food it wasn’t bad. Loss of a ⭐️ because the manager half way through the football game changes the Chanel to the basket ball Loss of star ⭐️ for serving beer that was clearly off, tasting like cigarettes and refusing to change it for another beer Loss of a third ⭐️ for over all disappointing experience, for a Canadian establishment the management needs serious lessons in how to run a business if it were mine I would fire him on the spot for shear business stupidity. I miss Picasso’s and would not come back.

Tucked away on St Jacques street in NDG, Manoirs Brasseries truly lives up to its name as a local jewel. This brewery exudes rustic charm and serves up delectable dishes that offer fantastic value for money. Whether you're looking to savor a meal, share a toast with friends, or catch a game on one of their many TV screens, this place has got you covered. Our family visit was memorable, with generous portion sizes that left everyone more than satisfied. Highly recommended for an authentic and delightful dining experience.

It was a really bad experiance. I feel ashamed to share all the details. And honestly will never ever visit the place again. Extreamly long waiting time. Unproffesional service. Ok prices but still higher than my favorite places. Mistake in the order. Mistake in the bill. Few times reminding about things we asked. Very fustraiting. From the fish fillet I pulled at least 5 bones. Nice place with a huge potential, I really hope to work on improving the service and customer experiance.

Before leaving the negative notes that need to be said. I must first say the situation has nothing to do with the waitress who was pleasant and respectful. As well as for the food was exactly as you would expect for the price in terms of portion, size and quality.

The issue at Hand has to do with management of the space, in particular, how one manager handle the situation and then continue to have an Escalate. The manager in question is named is Mark as he made sure I was aware of his name.

It started when myself and my companion asked him. If there’s something we can do due to the noise level of the table next to us, please note that the restaurant itself was relatively empty, and there was plenty of room to relocate us. However, as opposed to offering to add the football game, we were watching to a TV elsewhere in the restaurant his reply was and I quote “this is a bar, what do you expect.”

To me, this is a very unprofessional way to of handled it, but I sat there for a few minutes. As of the table next to us continue to escalate their noise, playing their card game.

my companion went to ask Mark about having a put on another TV seeing as that was not originally offered. The manager continued to talk to us in a negative way, almost as if he was doing us a major favour by changing the channel on another screen. At that moment, I decided it was time to leave and said, you know what. Let’s pay our bills and leave.

Mark proceeded to turn around and tell us that we were not welcome that we were wrong, I then let him know that I run multiple businesses with higher revenues in his one location, and that if any of my managers were to speak to a client the way he was, addressing us there would be some sort of disciplinary action. That his remarks were not appropriate and that we were going to leave.

Mark then asked if I was threatening his job. I did not reply as I am not his boss.

My colleague and I paid our bills, I had left a tip. My friend originally did not. The waitress then commented about that. I then explained to him that it was not the waitresses fault that he should leave her a tip while Marc was arguing over, is telling the waitress not to worry, he would tip her as if I was the problem. I tried politely to let him know that it was gonna take care of properly as it was not the waitresses want to eat. She decided that I was done, giving him an attitude and started to get into my face. I then asked him if I should be recording this conversation that played for the ownership group that he works for, I was going to continue to become more aggressive with me telling me I was no longer welcome there ever and I should leave.

At this point, as we were still walking out towards the door, quietly and calmly, he continued to Brade me with comments like, “are you leaving?” “ Do I need to call the police?” When the only one raising your voice or throwing a temper tantrum was him. I suggest that you avoid this place like the plague, until they fix the issues...

Where do I begin! Well let's start with the wait time to be served. A buddy and I went to the NDG location to watch the NBA playoffs and ordered your typical resto bar fare (beer, nachos, as well as a generic entree). The order itself was quite simple, so the expectation was that we would be promptly served as it was a Friday night. However, our expectations were tempered by the reality of the actual service. We ended up waiting over an hour to get our food. While our waiter was apologetic for the delay, explaining that the kitchen staff was undermanned for that evening, customers who arrived after us had actually been served before us. What was even more frustrating was that these customers appeared to be friends of the waiter and as such were given preferential treatment. To add insult to injury, other friends of this group arrived later and were also served all the while we were sitting there wondering what was happening. Only when we decided to leave the premises did the waiter miraculously appear with our food. At this point, it was already midway through the playoff game, so we grudgingly accepted the food.

As for the food, the term cafeteria food would not even do it justice. The nachos were burnt, the actual tomato garnish was rotted, the hamburger steak that my friend ordered was minuscule and overcooked and his order for steamed vegetables as a side was not even included. The service was an absolute joke as well as the terribly overpriced food.

Lastly, the manager tried to rectify the situation by offering a 15% discount, but when it was time to pay, there was no such discount. At that point, it was not worth the effort to pursue the matter any further and we left utterly disappointed. Needless to say, that was the first and last time that I will ever set foot in that establishment. It's a shame because Le Manoir's reputation is being sullied by the most inept staff you could ever imagine. I can assure you that the NDG location will not last long if they don't get their act together. In short, incompetence has a price. You have...

I have been here a few times since they have opened and every time I go there they find new ways to disappoint.

On one occasion they ran out of water glasses (with the restaurant practically empty) and took 2 hours to serve food, and most recently I was there for 4 hours watching game 7 of the hockey game and we did not receive our full order throughout the night.

Severely understaffed and unprepared for this day, it seems the owner is more concerned with low overhead than customer satisfaction. We ended up receiving free food, but the kitchen only made 2 out of the 6 total orders we submitted. It also took 2 hours before our food order was taken, and the waitress actually told us when we came in that she was "only taking drink orders right now, no food could be ordered yet".

To top it off, at the end of the night after not receiving our full food - the waitress vanished when it came time to settle the bill for our drinks. We ended up taking out cash at the ATM and leaving what we thought was the correct amount. Had we waited for the bill to arrive through its traditional means, I would most likely be writing this review from the same table I was at last night.

I would not recommend this place to anyone and would suggest looking elsewhere for a sports bar that actually values its customers. 100% never going back again and will advise anyone who asks to...
