One of the standout features of Brouhaha Ahuntsic is their self-proclaimed "best poutine" in town and house-smoked meat. Of course, those claims may be debatable, but that doesn't take away from the fact that these pub classics are as delicious as they are satisfying. The smoked meat has a uniquely smoky taste that we absolutely loved, and adding it to their poutine with crispy, well-seasoned fries makes for a fantastic combination.

We were also able to try several of their beers just a few feet away from the still where they are made. Although there was a nice choice of beer the, the food was horrible. Everything was dry and tasteless. Also the service was horrible. It took 20 minutes to get a beer. The waiter kept forgetting to get our things and when we went to check up on our order she was just talking to other waiters at the bar. She also forgot to send one of our food orders and blamed it on the kitchen saying that they put basil on it by mistake and sent it to another table, by mistake.... to top it off, when I left a low tip, 8% which is more than generous for the service received, she complained and asked if it was because of the food. Bar Attendant was displeased with a large group coming in unannounced and proceeded to tell us a few times. I understand that this might be upsetting but making us feel bad for deciding last second to go out drinking with friends feels nonessential.
