Well, i am just on business trip in Montreal and as my hotel is just around the corner, i visited today this restaurant as i am tired of burgers. First of all, the place made a very tidy and pleasant impression - sorry to say - in opposite to the most other places in Montreal. The staff welcome me very friendly and fast. I made a choice of wrapped meat and butterfly scampi. And the waiter asked me if i want to add a soup - which i agreed. At the beginning he bring a bread with butter and i have to say, this was already very tasty - not just the typical stomache filler. The they served the soup, which was ok, but nothing special. Then they bring the main dish and after the first try of the wrapped meat, i was absolutely thrilled. I have to say, that i am travelling a lot and i was also at a lot of really good restaurants - including famous steak houses in US (e. g. Chicago Chop House), and the most tasty steak ever was served in Norway, but this meat was really great and close to the best meat i ever had. Also the side salad was very good and the sauces (pepper and garlic) are really tasty. Of course you can find cheaper place, but the place is worth to visit if you want to know how tasty food can be. I was charged about 38 CAD if i remember right incl. drink, soup and main and i gave 50 - and this was worth of it every cent.

So if somebody gives only 2 or 3 stars, maybe he has a private cook with 3 stars on...

Casa Grecque is always a nice dining experience. At this location the food is delicious, the busboys are friendly and efficient and the manager seems nice enough but one of their Tuesday servers could either use some work or was unfortunately having a soso kind of day on the evening that we decided to have a family dinner. Walking around with his head down, mumbling and acting irritated because his clients aren't ready to order dessert when it's only 7h45 and the restaurant is practically empty makes me go hmmmm. If you're waiting to be cut because it's a dead night and you have one or two tables left it's for you to make a choice, pass them off to the closing server OR stay on because you don't want to forfeit the tip, plaster that fake smile onto your face and at least pretend to be interested. We all do it. But acting impatient because you can only make your money if you stick around long enough to collect the bill isn't one of the options. The hours of operations are clear enough and a standard service is 2 hours so suck it...

The waiters and host were very courteous but the service lack tremendously. At times the waiters looked like lost puppies just standing around instead of checking in with customers to make sure everything was ok. For instance, I ordered the grilled salmon which I do not recommend at this place. No one at any time came to check on me asking how everything was. Waiter made eye contact with me on several occasions but nothing. About the food...I went in on a Friday roughly close to noon. I ordered the lunch special which I stated earlier was the Grilled Salmon. The Salmon was dry....wayyyyyy overcooked, tasteless, rice wasn't my cup of tea...too pasty...felt like it was instant rice, they put too much salad dressing on my salad. The best part of my meal were the greek potatoes which were not bad at all. Overall I will definitely not come back. Chef Ramsy would have definitely gave this joint a two thumbs down. Not great! You are welcome to try it...perhaps the chef was having an off day. But I...

Good food, good service and bring your own wine. Convenience store next door and SAQ down the street. Update: we ordered through Uber 3 times and will no longer do so. Nice platter in the restaurant but not so much when you order out. Definitely a case of shrinkflation. Price went up while portions went down. We’ll keep going to the restaurant but will no longer order, I think the waiters would be embarrassed to serve an expensive tiny portion. I’m being fair, we usually have plenty of leftovers but not anymore. Shame.

Had a date night here and it was an incredible experience. We didnt have a reservation, but the line went relatively quick compared to how packed and busy the restaurant was on a Sat evening. We absolutely loved the table we sat at, the space is so cozy and wasn’t noisy at all. Food came out quickly, they even had bread w butter while you wait, the service was very friendly and proper. The portion is hugeee, very well worth the price. Highly recommend their lamb chops and baklava, so yummy🥰
