Finally, another legit Mexico City-style Taqueria! It was such a pleasant surprise to find this place in the village. I was walking by here, and just by the looks and the font on their walls, I knew the tacos would be bomb. I didn't doubt it and walked in.
Pastor: check! Suadero: the best in Montreal. Campechano: It exists (not many places serve this)!
They also have naturally flavoured waters (homemade Mexican drinks) like horchata, jamaica and tamarind.
What makes this taquería (taco place) different? -you may ask-. Well, the quantity, pricing and operating hours. These tacos are worth it. The size for 6 dollars is fantastic. Also, they are open until midnight on certain days (this is the most beautiful thing to find after a couple of drinks in the area). They even add homemade potatoes to the dishes!!
So, come here and try this new chilango taste with peeps from Mexico City. I will come back for...
Read moreNot going to lie, i never dislike food, had burritos many times at various places, this one was so blend i could barely finish it. Had no taste to it as well. I couldnt even see the beans inside, and im sure something inside was stale. Im not mexican, but usually burritos have rice in them, except the Southern californian burritos and Sonoran burritos. Would have returned it but I dont like drama and it was only 20 dollars. Actually was disgusted when eating, just finished because my culture respects food. Will never go back. The portion size is small too and the potatoes come on the side they better didnt put it, there were only 6-7 tiny pieces accompanied by half raw onions. Very dissatisfied. Had to buy Jarritos to rinse the taste...

They weren't going to do it. We didn't appreciate it but ok. We were craving Mexican food. The positive: the bifteck, the home made nachos and the guacamole were yummy. The green salsa was delicious. I enjoyed the guava jarrito. The negatives: the tacos al pastor were killer spicy and had NO PINEAPPLE. They were basically inedible. No enjoyment whatsoever and terrible disappointment. I'm Mexican... So I know how pastor should be. But the worst: we all got sick. Everyone of us. Do yourself a favour and...
