I've placed several large orders from this place through SkipTheDishes and DoorDash, the latest had a mild request for a Google Review on the receipt, honestly this place is SO virtual I didn't think it was a possibility, LOL! And in actual fact Google wouldn't show it on the map until I searched it. I've loved this place so much I'll gladly do so! It seems Depanneur Virtuel is affiliated and connected with two other businesses at this location, the restaurant Le Cordon and the candy store Bon Bon Si Bon. Honestly I don't see much separation with the last, the yummy candies and drinks available at Bon Bon Si Bon seem all available at the dep too, :) I think in the past a difference DID turn up, they simply supplied items from the other store anyway. They seem very flexible and accommodating. Three aspects I absolutely ADORE: I mark ALL orders, all ITEMS on all orders, to contact me in case of substitution, nearly nobody does, they do! Every time it has come up they call, and we arrange a substitution I'm completely satisfied with. (I don't get people being fine with the establishment making whatever substitutions they like AND this is the default setting). Secondly, that they're all open until 2am (this delivery actually ended up at my door after 2am, I'm a night owl). This seems like the only depanneur I can order from after about 11pm. And thirdly, the wonderfully varied selection. There are SO many items I never see anywhere else! Including several familiar sodas in interesting tasty flavours (e.g. Strawberries And Cream Dr. Pepper and Cherry Coke). I find the Usual Suspects - what I call Coke/Pepsi, 7Up/Sprite, sometimes Ginger Ale, drinks that literally every place carries - to be super boring to pick, they're comparatively bland and WAY too available, so I like flavourful options. In particular I note that as a Dutch guy, a favourite soda in Holland is Blackcurrant - called Cassis in Dutch and french. Growing up we could only get it from the Dutch store, nobody local carries it (except the short time President's Choice did a passable version, then seemed to discontinue it over being too popular and always selling out), but there IS no more Dutch stores in Montreal. Fanta has their rendition of it, but I never see it anywhere. Except Depanneur Virtuel and one or two other similar specialty stores. It may not be genuine Hero brand from Holland, but close enough for me! Many items here appear to be imported. It is this likely-many-imported aspect which make some of the prices forgivable, I know when importing products that can make them pricey, meaning the customers have to pay more to make carrying those items profitable. Only problem is when DoorDash offers to DoubleDash this place (like tonight), the former 10 minute window, now 15, is a VERY short time to browse their rather extensive inventory. Go Speed Browsing Mode! :)

So much variety for a depaneur. Blew my mind. They have almost everything from dunkaroos to chocolates, candies and drinks in almost any flavor.

If the owners ever see this review i would like to thank you kindly again for the great service!

One thing to mention is that I was truly surprised to see all the hateful reviews as the owners are very polite and friendly people. The way i see it is if someone was rude to you, you must have gave them a reason to be rude to you. Not a single business owner wakes up out of bed and just decides to be rude to people for absolutely no reason since they know that the customers and drivers delivering the packages are what help sustain the business. In addition, if you’ve worked in cyber security or IT you can tell that most of the 1 star reviews are clearly fake accounts. To shame a business owner online just because you took something personal or gave them a reason to be rude to you cannot be justified.

I am mentioning all this because i have been there many times and disagree with all the hateful comments. So i thought it was only right to share my experience.

Respectfully, The people complaining about prices are the ones who never owned or ran a business in their entire life. They are not aware of the increase in prices when ordering almost anything nowadays or the percentage that has to be given out to ubereats.

Funny how they have bunch of bad reviews on google but their uber rating is 4.8. Clearly something personal is going on folks.

Nevertheless, i highly recommend anyone to go see for themselves how serious they take their business by providing an unforgettable customer service experience.

Best...

People they are not respected in this place.

They are ready to fight with people And not to serve them . They tell the Unhappy customers "go to find another place" ( you can check that down on review).

And they tell the unhappy delivery if you dont deleted the commont we will call uber to close your app for attack bussiness. . So this bussiness It's something that says we will threat anyone who expresses his opinion in the rating (avis ). by call uber for the drivers, and threatening customers with the police and a charge of attacking a business.

Advice for you (the owner). Maybe you should start change the way to talk with people like dont attack nice people without good reason thats happen to me for example the first time i go there, i just mistaken on door and the lady was so rude.

Maybe Instead of threatening people and delivery by cause them trouble and tell them i will close you app, you should just give them order and let them go . Thats what all resturant do . Can you just tell driver for who . Here you go !

Life its simple its easy . I support all bussiness and iam not jealous person but Simply this business must be closed by the...
