Eggsquis — Restaurant in Montreal

Typical breakfast place, you know what you're getting into when you go here. They do have some specials, like they had a greek breakfast special once (I didn't try it, so I don't know how it was, but they do more than just traditional breakfast).

They have everything from the usual 2 eggs with a meat and toast, coffee is always included; to the 2 eggs, beans, a pancake etc... omelettes, french toast, benedict..., crepes with fruits and custard, parfaits, I mean you can't go wrong.

They even serve cereal in case you have a picky child who doesn't want eggs, or pancakes.

It's always good, I used to go a lot before covid.

Worst service I've ever had: So slow! We had to ask our waitress to order after waiting forever. Waitress got our order wrong so we had to wait even longer even though we repeated the order 3 times and in 2 different languages. They didn't check on our table once. When we tried to ask a waitress to pay she looked straight at us and walked away. Overheard the hostess tearing into a customer who wasn't satisfied about the speed of service because he didn't tell them upon arrival that he was in a hurry. Like it's the customers responsibility to make sure he gets quick service?

Very good eggs Benedict. I took mine with bacon, and the bacon tasted very fresh. The eggs were cooked perfectly, with the yolk entirely soft, but no watery, uncooked whites to be seen. I can never find such perfectly cooked eggs elsewhere. Also, the lady who served me; Brigitte, remembered that I always want a glass of water with my meal, and offered it right at the start.
