The best seafood restaurant! Unbelievable how good everything is! Staring with the Greek salad... Amazing flavor of the tomatoes, cucumbers, onions and delicious Feta cheese 😋 The fish of the day is fresh fish. We enjoyed the fresh Red Snapper and I choose the Chilean sea bass, it was amazing!!!. We also ordered the octopus dish, it was so tender and delicious!! For appetizers we enjoyed the spinach in filo pastry , fried zucchini and eggplant and the tzatziki !!! Very good!! Fresh bread with olive oil and vinegar mmmmmmm good! so good!!! We would highly recommend this restaurant. When you are in Montreal, take the time and have dinner here. You will not be disappointed. The chef truly understands Greek cuisine and all the flavors !! I lived in Greece for almost 3 years and Faros Restaurant Hits it out of the park. Hands down !If you love fresh seafood this is the place you want ! The service is very friendly and accommodating. There are enough tables but making a reservation on a busy weekend is highly...

The starters were good but the main was below average. It is also a little pricey. The cheapest fish is 32 $/ pound, the most expensive one is 40$/pound. Usually in other Greek restaurants, the grilled fish dish comes with rice and veggies, here you have to ask for rice. The grilled red snapper doesn’t taste good. It wasn’t scaled properly. So after grilling it, the skin doesn’t go crispy. It tastes like steamed fish. The flavouring is missing. The worst part was the rice. No TLC in veggie and rice. They taste like right from Costco...

I went to Faros a few times already but it was a first for my friends and the food was to die for. It's a family-type of atmosphere and the whole staff is friendly from the waiter to the owner. We were 3 people and decided to have a shared dinner. We had veggies and octupus as appetizers, a plate with lamb chops, fish, shrimps and scallops served with rice as main dish, bakhlava for desserts and a bottle of Greek wine. If you want authentic Mediterranean food, you won't be...

I had not been here in 20 years. Although they no longer have fish soup what ever we ordered it was better than expected but it was pricey. The salad was excellent and the fish...wow. it was not salty like most places. The rice had this amazing aroma. Service could have been a little more sharp and their locomadies were horrible but we were nor charged so I kept the 5 stars. Love the old fashion bread and great olive oil.
