Came here on a Saturday night with reservations. The place got busy, but never full. If you ever decide to come without a reservation, it shouldn't be a huge wait.

We ordered the arancini and fried calamari appetizers. Both were meager and offered very little in terms of taste. The calamari was especially tasteless and over fried if you ask me. I ordered the mushroom pizza, which was admittedly delicious. It was a white pizza which I asked to turn into a red one which they happily did for no extra charge. I'm a huge mushroom fan so my needs were met when it showed up and had a mountain of mushrooms on it. My biggest criticism for the Pizza was that it was soaked and impossible to pick up. Super floppy.

My wife ordered a pasta dish and it seemed like the noodles were made on site, something you don't see very often. While that was appreciated, the portion size was not. Most dishes were fairly small and most of my table left hungry. A friend at my table ordered the snail pasta special and said there were no snails to be seen.

Service was adequate, but I felt like there was no warmth. Maybe I'm asking for too much, I don't know.

Overall, it was a decent place that I'm happy I tried but, like I said, there are way better pizza...

Cute restaurant in Hochelaga.

Oven fired pizzas, pasta and Italian inspired appetizers, such as Arancini. All available with wine, beers and crafted cocktails. The makings of a perfect date night.

I stumbled upon Heirloom while googling places to eat on an up coming trip to Montreal. We went later in the evening, on a summer night, and were pleasantly met with an adorable patio that still had space on it. We were seated promptly and our server was sweet and accommodated our lack of being able to speak the French language.

We ordered a pineapple sangria and a craft beer. Foodwise, we had the Arancini and 2 pizzas. Our food came out in a reasonable amount of time and certainly hit the spot after a day of traveling and some additional accommodation stress. The pizzas had lots of toppings and the crust was perfectly chewy without being burnt or there being too much crust.

Overall, it was a really lovely and pleasant night and we even had a great conversation with another patron on the patio. I would love to revisit this area during the day, as the street is closed off and is set up for...

I order 1 appetizer, 1 pizza and 1 desert pizza. The appetizer where 3 meatball with tomato sauce, which were really good, like seriously. The pizza was a Mexican, the ingredient are good quality, so they tasted great, the pizza dough was better than the one of popular fast food chain like dominos or pizza hut for example, the only problem was that the dough was floury, not because it was undercooked (the dough was properly cooked) but because when they worked the pizza dough before putting it in the oven, they used too much floor, so even cooked there where still flour on the pizza (I hope that it was only a one time mistake and I hope it was only a one time thing and that they don't actually serves all of their pizza like that). The desert pizza was a chocolate pizza (classic pizza dough with just melted chocolate on top with some nuts) which was really good but had the problem mistake my Mexican pizza had. So putting the flour overdose aside, those pizza are really good, better than the one from popular fast food chain and I wouldn't mind ordering again.

Oh by the way, all of that...

Customer service is great but I have to rate this place on food/taste... Not good... In fact not good at all. Ok so I had one dish so keep that in mind. I ordered a margherita pizza. It turned out to be $4/slice: $16 four slice pizza... And it wasn't worth it at all. Tomatoes sauce was so acidic, tasted like canned... Basil was overcooked. Cheese was sparingly spread and the slice had no crunch... Just no life to the pizza. Did it look good: yes, but it tasted nothing like it looked. I've had frozen pizza that was better. On a good note the place is clean, beautiful and the staff was super friendly. So if you want to feel fancy and don't much care for taste, you'll fit right in. I will not be giving that place another chance because not in the mood to spit my food back out like I did today. Anyhow, best of luck to all with the other dishes but if they use The same tomato sauce for all their pizzas... Beware... I feel bad taking into consideration the year all restaurants have gone through but food is food. Best if luck to them and hope this review was taken as a constructive comment.

We absolutely loved the pizza here! The crust was baked to perfection - crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and not too thick. We got the pepperoni pizza and mushroom pizza. Personally we thought the pepperoni had a more bold flavor, but the mushroom was also very umami and smokey. We also started with the Aranchini (deep fried risotto). It was very cheesy and the tomato's sauce tasted very fresh. The only thing we would say about this dish is that we wish we could have used the lemon slice but it was in the sauce making it too difficult to grab without getting out hands dirty. But this wouldn't be a problem if they put the slice on the edge of the bowl, similar to how you would recieve a slice of lemon on your drink. Overall great experience, nice outdoor patio too. We would totally go back to try their other pizza flavors!
