L'Œufrier (Saint-Léonard) — Restaurant in Montreal

Not the greatest place to have breakfast. First of all, my sister and I were waiting quite long to be seated and there was no line up. There were several seats available however no one came to greet us. When we finally got seated , the waitress took very long to come take our order. Also, I am not a picky eater and I must say that this food was not good. The patatoes have absolutely no flavour. Also the eggs are watery. The brown bread is hard like a rock. There is also no space on the table and no one was around to ask for more napkins. Therefore , I decided to get up myself and take napkins from other tables. The waitress also never came to fill up our coffees. They all seem to be talking behind the bar and not paying enough attention to their clients. Lastly, there’s no one managing their staff or clients . I understand it is a new place and things may improve with time but since this is a new place there should certainly be a manager or director or someone in charge of the place to keep an eye on their staff and...

Service was awful.. I wasnt even able to get my coffee refilled once (which was cold when I received it) and it took 15 minutes just to get my orange juice. Not only did it take 25 minutes to get my eggs (when the restaurant wasn’t even busy at 3pm) but when I finally did get my plate, everything was cold and tasteless. I’ve been to L’oeufrier on des laurentides in Laval many times before and have never been as disappointed as I was the one time I came to this one. Bottom line.. go to laval. This one puts the whole breakfast chain to shame. I’ve been working in breakfast joints for the last 6 years and know exactly what it’s like to work under pressure in the middle of a rush and there were 5 waitresses on the floor while the restaurant wasn’t even busy. Oh and also forgot to mention.. waitress with the blonde bun on top of your head? Slap a smile on your face, and if you hate your job that much then you probably shouldn’t be working in...

Fun and trendy decor. Charming waitress Angelique. Waited for food about 30 minutes. Prices more expensive than average. Also high degree of echo due to high ceilings so high number of guests combined with radio playing made it difficult to hear my partner across the table. Quality of food leaves much to be desired. Ordered smoked meat Eggs Benedict. Eggs were soft cooked instead of runny and there was very little smoked meat in tiny bits drowning in Hollondaise sauce that was too thick and globy. Potatoes not very tasty. Fruit bowl was good. My parter ordered an Italian style patati and it was very ordinary also accompanied by hollandaise sauce. Ended up with upset stomachs all afternoon and we are not difficult eaters.
