Sadly it was my fav coffee in town id go 3 times a week to work from there and usually enjoy eating their vegan meals and coffee, however the terrible mistreatment from a young lady barista when demanding me to consume In a rude way and after telling her 3 times I was planning to eat lunch in a bit as I usually do she kept saying the same sentence "you gotta consume now if you want to stay here", I let it pass and continue working but I was feeling very uncomfortable and mistreated knowing I'm a regular customer who usually consumed more than 3 items in a sitting. I spotted the manager and attempted to provide feedback of my horrible experience hoping for some understanding or acknowledgement to what he immediately made bad gestures and told me "I know my collegue and she is right, these are the rules" I kept repeating its not the words its the rude approach. I promised myself never coming back which is very unfortunate because I like the place and it's food! WORST EXPERIENCE IN...
Read moreThe place is really cute, with a great atmosphere, great music, but the service was just not it.
For dessert, I ordered a tiramisu, but what I got was some sort of cake with fruits—definitely not a tiramisu. I actually thought there was a mix-up, so I went to the register to check if I got someone else’s order by mistake. Turns out, that was their tiramisu and he told me what fruit was it but now i forgot.. They asked if I liked it, and when I asked if I could exchange to something else or get a refund, they just laughed.
There were 4+ people at my table, and no one liked it, so it just went to waste. When I went to drop off our plates before leaving, I saw the staff passing around the tiramisu cup, rolling their eyes at it. Super unprofessional and just weird situation to be at.
Honestly, I just wanted a decent sweet treat, not a mystery fruit cake and a side of...
Read moreDrinks are good, food is good, but be aware: the bathroom has a horrible strobe that they WILL NOT TURN OFF. Accessibility is supposedly turning the other lights up (I followed the instructions and talked to a barista), but the strobe was still going hard, and I had to leave right after using the bathroom to go throw up outside.
I'm a disabled person who had to leave after it triggered intense nausea and headaches. The café legitimately claims refusing to shut off a pretty violent strobe is a "funky experience," I think they just hate unhoused and disabled people.
Do not go if you get migraines, have epilepsy, have long COVID, or are otherwise triggered by really intense, ongoing, flashing lights in a bathroom. (I've legitimately never been in an establishment that refuses to turn off strobe lights, let alone a strobe light in...
