La pergola pizza hm — Restaurant in Montreal

This place is a dream come true! We ended up at this restaurant by chance. The ambiance is great, very cute, comfortable restaurant. This little lady was ordering a pizza to go and told us on her way out "la meilleure pizza 🍕👌" She wasnt wrong!

We ordered the chicken pizza and a calzone that time, so good! The crust, sauce, toppings, fantastic. Then getting ready to leave they offered us (and everyone who ate there) a complimentary cup of tea, no lie, tasted like a sweet pepperminty cup of heaven. Everyone working there was so kind and cheerful.

THEY DELIVER!!! I'm all for supporting businesses that help us help them! Cut out the convenience tax of Uber or DoorDash and pay less for the same great food! Great service on delivery too, that time we ordered "the pergola" pizza, it did not disappoint. Our only regret was not ordering more pizzas, seeing as they have such great deals!

It was a big disappointment, unfortunately. We had to wait nearly 1 hour and 30 minutes for just two sandwiches—the fries came later, and the sauces even later,and in such situation customers need to be advised about the waiting time before ordering.

The experience was chaotic: no restrooms available, and they kept taking online orders over the increasingly frustrated customers waiting on-site. Also, asking someone who tipped generously in advance to pay an extra $1 just to swap a Coke for a San Pellegrino felt unnecessary,Sometimes ,it doesn't take much effort to turn a situation around with a little customer care.

That said, the baguette farcie was good.

I still wish them good luck and hope they work on improving...

If you take the time to read the reviews it is clear that the majority are fake.

The reality after going there many times is much different : No one anwsers the phone, poor quality ingredients, pizza tastes like cardboard, but the worst of all is slowness. Are you hungry? Prepare to wait 45 minutes for a sandwich. This is an insult to clients and a testomony of their poor practices. 1 star because even tho service is abhorrent the...
