I was waiting for an Italian place to open so badly as I am Italian! I really liked this place. My boyfriend took the meatball sandwich with a machiano, and I took a sausage sandwich (hot) with a double shot of espresso. My sandwich wasn't hot I would say that would be the only down side and that the sitting place is very limited. However, they offered free cafe crema which was super delightful and delicious. The sandwich was amazing and delicious, I would also say the service was okay. They also sell authentic Italian food, like olive oil, biscuits, pastries, coffee machines, oil and veggies mix, tomato sauce, pasta and much more. I was looking to buy the Gardiniera that was in my sandwich but couldn't find it, they should have it. I will go back and will recommend.

Woww.. I think this bossa might be better than the one in Verdun. There are also more seating options from what I remember. I took the chicken cutlet. The bread was fresh, both soft inside and crispy outside. The chicken cutlet was still crispy, the Verdun location when I get this sandwich the chicken is never crispy. My partner got the porchetta sandwich, and the porchetta was perfect- slightly on the sweet side with hints of apple (always good in pork), and absolutely melted in your mouth. I was so impressed. For the price, you get a lot of food and could easily save the second half of your sandwich for later - but it’s so good, I don’t know if you’ll want to!

Truly some of the best sandwiches ever. I order them on Uber eats and it always comes fresh. I have yet to experience a bad sandwich. They're 10/10 every time. The side salads are also really good. Tbh I don't want to say it because sometimes the one I like is sold out and I don't want more people to buy it but that's selfish. Do yourself a favour and try the roast chicken and order aioli on the side to put on your sandwich. Try any of the cutlet sandwiches. Steak and pepperoni is also great. The porchetta was delicious and fatty just like how it should be. I'll try the whole menu one day 💖

EDIT* I used to be such a fan of this place but recently they have been going downhill.. let me explain.

I JUST got home from buying a chicken parm and pepperoni steak sandwich, and it has been one of my worse meals in the last few weeks. My pepperoni steak came without pepperoni and hardly any veggies/sauce, basically break and steak which is dry and flavorless. The chicken parm came without any sauce and again, very dry to eat. This meal has been a disappointment and next time, if I continue going, I won't leave without inspecting the sandwiches.

3 weeks prior I had called to put in my order, to save time while they get done, and I was put on hold for 10 minutes. I arrived thinking they were swamped and it was the opposite, just the phone there with a blinking and the whole front desk staff chatting with each other. This was engaging and I had to wait another 15 minutes... which could have been avoided. I don't know what's going on there but these have been my 2 most recent...

After having been to their Verdun location many times, and almost always sticking to my go-to, the porchetta sandwich, I decided to give the location on Masson a try.

The locale, albeit a bit larger, feels just like the Wellington one. The same Italian imported products, wall-decor, great vibes, friendly & hard-working staff.

Unfortunately, it is the second time (the first, being at the Wellington location) their porchetta sandwich has disappointed. Mine & my friends sandwich consisted purely of thick strips of fat. A few strings of actual meat on each slice, but 90% fat. Either the quality of product has gone down, or, the folks preparing the sandwich need to be told to discard the fat instead of stuffing 8 slices of it in a sandwich. I make porchetta at home: porchetta is itself a fatty, greasy meat, but the keyword is “meat,” which I saw none of in my sandwich. (And really, it was only the porchetta itself - the rest of the ingredients, as usual, were...

I hate to leave this comment but as I would give an advice to a close friend I want to do the same to one of my favorite sandwiches spot in Montreal. I usually love your eggplant parmigiana sandwich but last evening it wasn’t even close to how it used to be. Yesterday it was just a fried eggplant with very little to no tomatoes sauce and very little mozzarella, tons of spicy pepper and due to that just way different from the usual parmigiana you usually serve, where it’s actually a proper eggplant parmigiana in the sandwich. And recently it wasn’t the first time. As last time we can around 2 months ago, we had a similar disappointing experience and the sandwich was massively oily and again very spicy because of too many spicy peppers compared to the other ingredients. Keep it up guys, try to be more consistent and if a product is not ready there is no shame in asking to wait or propose...
