Nigelle — Restaurant in Montreal

Stopped by this cafe early on a Sunday morning expecting the usual mundane experience of placing my coffee order, paying and then going on my way. Boy was I pleasantly surprised by the welcoming warmth and humor of the owner. He had a big smile on his face and a twinkle in his eye. There was some cheerful banter and even a bet between him and my conjoint. He had us laughing and even surprised us with his knowledge of speaking Spanish, aside from speaking excellent French and English. We walked out with a smile on our face and a pep in our step. Great coffee, yummy pastries and unparalleled customer service. I highly recommend this cafe and am looking forward to going back. The customer service alone deserves...

We happened upon this cafe by chance and feel very fortunate to have found Chef Moh and his wonderful assistant . He was very kind and personable. We were made to feel very welcome .

When I was unsure of a sandwich selection, he catered to me by asking what unlike to eat and then made a wonderful Turkey Croissant for me . The Espresso was wonderful as was the amazing oatmeal cookie baked by the chef himself!!!

We will definitely return should we be in Montreal again!

Ps, the flaxseed (Lin) in the cookies was a nice touch...

Ordered a dirty chai. Very friendly, funny and community based owner. Opens early and makes excellent coffees, lattes, espresso, etc... has oatmilk too!! Original and fresh sandwiches, can customize any order happily with a clear passion for his shop and heritage. Brekky or lunch? AMAZING MENU!
