Super disappointing visit. We have been to the locations in the old power and Brossard and we had a great time but unfortunately this first time visit to this nuns island location was super disappointing. The location is part of the mall which is fine but there wasn’t enough thought put into details like the washroom location. The washroom is located outside of the restaurant where there are no signs and through a door with a PIN code pad making you think you aren’t suppose to go through the door. My husband ended up walking out of the mall looking for the washroom. When we initially got to the restaurant we got seated and then we just waited for someone to bring us menus and water. We waited a solid 15 minutes (and mind you the restaurant only had another table of 2 making the restaurant basically empty) when my husband finally got up and went looking for menus which he brought back. We only then got water after we ordered and only when we asked. Not once did the waiter while we were eating come back to ask us about the meal or if we wanted anything else. The food overall was good except for the super small sized imperial rolls and the cut up vermicelli noodles…what a disappointment. Safe to say we won’t be going back to...

Two stars because I'm being nice. The place is very spacious and trendy looking, but the ordering process was confusing/service was slow. When I finally received my food the spring roll was really hard, as if it had been sitting out for a long time. I also ordered a "large" shrimp / vegetable pho (since there was no beef pho on the menu....?) And when it finally arrived, I was super disappointed to see how small the bowl actually was. Not only that, but this is seriously some of the worst pho I've EVER eaten. Seems like they cook each ingredient separately then assemble your soup Subway sandwich style, throwing whatever you ordered in a tasteless generic soup base.

I'd also like to add: there were no sauces on the tables my utensils came encrusted with bits of dried food soup comes garnished, no option to dress the bowl to your liking like most typical pho spots. Don't like garnish? Too bad. Have fun fishing it all out a "large" (medium) bowl of pho and one leathery spring roll cost me 23 dollars.... Counted a whopping three shrimp in my bowl. They are all super fishy and gritty.

Never again. I seriously do not understand how this place has such...

Tldr: I had a bad experience with the food, though I can admit it has potential, prices are ok, service was really poor and ruined the experience.

I ordered a ban mi, the chicken inside was cold. I asked if this was normal, they said no and the man behind the cash register quickly and respectfully took it back. However, once I got it back the chicken was still cold and I let him know. This time another employee rolled her eyes at me, once I got it back, the bread was ridiculously hard and warm, the chicken was hardly a bit warmer though. So I told them politely and the female employee said what do you want me to do? Put it back in the oven? I said no, I don't want the bread to be harder than it is, it's the chicken that's cold. She rolled her eyes again and at that point waiting over 15 minutes, I had to ask for it to go. She dropped the bag in front of me and walked away as if she was angry. Once I got back to work. The bread was hard and stale. The vegetables were warm, the chicken finally tasted good but as a whole it was very poor. To top it off, there weren't even any napkins in the bag. Just a very poor overall experience that could have...

I am giving a 2 out of 5 instead of a 1 star rating only because it used to be good like more than 6 months ago. Since that time the quality has decreased to an alarming point. In my picture it is supposed to be fried chicken (general sao) but it is like 85% fat/gristle/nerve. I don't even know how possible it could be to get that much fat out of chicken. For the other meal, we ordered a vegan soup. The broth melted the styrofoam so the broth was all in the plastic bag. I have no idea if this is edible or not. Also another time before, we ordered the same vegan soup and got a chicken broth instead (what's more vegan than a chicken broth...). Then once at home where I found out, I called them back so they deliver me the real meal I ordered. First they didn't want even if we live 3 minutes away by car, second, at some point they wanted me to pay for the replacement. What!?! Come on.

On île des Soeurs, a shining spot does gleam, Le Petit Sao, a culinary dream. With flavors bold, a Vietnamese delight, It captivates palates, day or night. The chicken bahn mi, a savory bliss, A symphony of tastes, impossible to miss. In baguette bread, a crispy embrace, Each bite, a journey, a culinary grace. The aroma entices, a fragrant ballet, Aromatic herbs, a dance in each fray. Le Petit Sao, where tastes come alive, In every dish, their passion does thrive. A culinary haven, a treasure so rare, On île des Soeurs, it stands without compare. With each delectable bite, hearts find their way, In Le Petit Sao, an unforgettable stay.

This is not an authetic but a Vietnamese infusion restaurant. We had Vietnamese pad pho and the Sate specialized pho which were not bad. But if you are looking for Vietnamese dishes like us, they are a bit disappointed. The female waiter seated us and told us to come to the reception to order. After ordering, no one bother to bring the food to us, eventhough the chef completed them and put them at serving window. We eventually have to stand up and take the food by ourselves. There are three guests including two of us in the restaurant at that time. I keep 3 stars just because of the great color combination interior and the food taste.
