We tried this place the very first time last week during lunch and ordered quite a number of items. One of which is the Kokoro ($43) a mixed platter of Nigiris and Makis. The 🍣 was unfortunately not fresh, there was a foul seafood turned bad taste to it, it was a shame because the salmon poke bowl we got was lovely. If you’re here for the first time during lunch, do try their Combo Midi, the cashier don’t display lunch set menu on the table in front of the customer but rather on the table where the customer can’t see so you would have to ask for it (or check it online). This is rather cheeky of them I would say but oh well. This is not an authentic sushi place ran by Japanese so... don’t expect Japanese quality. I returned this week just for the poke bowl because it was good for it’s price and convenient location for us but definitely will not be spending $77 during lunch for 2 pax again! (Lesson learned). Also, I don’t like how the cashier asks if I want to add a tip every time I pay. It’s a take out. Let your customer do what they deem is right. If your service and food is good, this would be reflected in the form of a tip, otherwise, you should reflect on your attitudes in this food and service industry. For all this reason, it’s a 3* place for me.

Came here solo for lunch on a weekday. Had the salmon poke bowl which was very good and reasonably priced (it also comes with a small soup). Just know that this is a restaurant with service, mention it before your order if you want to eat inside. The lady had me pay immediately and served it as takeout - when I asked if I could eat inside she refused, saying it was a space with service, and asked that I go outside. I don’t think she had bad intentions but it was kind of rude, considering she never asked me if I wanted it for here or to go. Still, I will be back because the poke was excellent!

I was looking forward to try this place especially as they delivered after 17h00. In the end, after a lot of confusion, I decided to pick up my order. The website is not designed to be able to give clear instructions for delivery. That put aside, I found the staff willing to help and friendly. Nevertheless I have to say the quality of the sushi was disappointing. The miso soup had not taste. It felt really diluted. The combo sushi&sashimi did not taste fresh. The sashimi cut were definitely not of the quality one finds in a Japanese restaurant. The tuna did not taste like fresh tuna at all. The rolls were soggy and the rice in both the rolls and nigiri felt dry and not freshly cooked for sure. The greens that were added for decoration were limp and not crispy fresh. I was hoping to recommend the place to friends but decided against it after my first experience. Not sure I will try it again. If so I would not order something that is at the discretion of the chef and will certainly not order...
