Food is extremely good. Classic, well made, well presented. Daily specials are especially good. Service was efficient and friendly. Couple of things: paper napkins seem out of place given the price of the dishes; upholstery on the seats was completely worn out and is in dire need of a refresh; the table top was sticky; the front door would get stuck half open and a cold draft would come in, and my husband had to repeatedly get up and close it; they didn't change cutlery after the appetizers, even if they were completely crusted with melted cheese; Beefeater as a gin is sad given how the multitude of local choices available; soup spoons to eat our dessert was very weird. None of those issues is a deal breaker, but they add up! We loved the food, but the experience surrounding it was a bit sub par, so I can't give the place five stars,...

I have heard a lot of this restaurant before and always wanted to visit it since I like small restaurants with great food and bring your own wine option. This restaurant is a complete disappointment except service. The place doesn’t look the same as on their website. The actual menu is completely different from the menu on the website and the presentation and taste of the dishes is awful!!!! Food is tasteless and without great presentation. Dirty wine glasses, very old furniture, ice making machine was broken ( no chance to cool off your wine, extremely loud. I don’t understand why people are still going there… I think really by habit. Maybe this resto was great once but not anymore. Only service was descent. Our waiter Vincent was doing a great job! I will never come back there and will never recommend this...

Brought some out of town guests yesterday trying to show off my city's culinary brilliance. If you’re coming for the food, you won’t be disappointed. If you are as unlucky as my friends and I were to have such curt, rude service then you’re going to be disappointed. The waiter was intolerable, disengaged and appeared to care about exactly nothing. Living in a city with so many amazing restaurants, I wouldn’t rush to recommend or return when I know I can have an unparalleled experience with matched service at dozens of competitors.
