It was the most awful experience in a restaurant of my 68 years. Believe you me I've been to all sorts, in all kind of countries. But THIS MCDONALD'S this one I should have backed out asap when I opened the door. After fully coming in all my senses were violently agressed. 1st it was smelling stale, 2 decibels from angry customer was over 95 I'm sure. Then a couple started howling there is no other terms I have hearing issues but I was hearing the lady like war sirens boy she was angry. True the service was more than slow, seems like all the orders were mixed up so both customers and employees were yelling at each other full blast. At almost rish hour. Arguing none was listening to what the other was saying. It was an extremely aggressive approach. Unluckily I do not have a MCDONALD'S app. So I the old lady who has mobility issues and hearing problems was standing there at one of the 3 empty cash stations where there were no employees because they were all cowering in the kitchen. The men (not boys) big ones were also hiding. I was on the verge of dialing 911. Telling myself God I'm having a PTSD episode from when I was attacked in 1993 in a McD in Denver CO. Deep breath nope I'm home in RDP sure doesn't look smell or sounds like it though.
I had no choice but to stay as my STM adapted transport was to pick me there 2hrs later.
Finally the enraged customer left. A human came although she was shaking with rage she was THE brave one who had faced the howling lady and finally gave her back her money. I decided to order something ultra simple thinking they surely couldn't get it wrong I asked for Big Mac trio Simple should have been right. Told the employee that I had reduced mobility handicap and couldn't handle carrying my meal nor standing since I was already on the verge of fainting which true. I was told to look up the number on my bill and pick it up once it appeared in red. I tried once again to tell her I had mobility handicap shower her my cane. My hair is completely white and she noticed I was reading her lips. That also hadn't jumped like the others when the angry customer started to howl nor had hid from her. Anyways I paid thought oh they lowered their price. There is no menu board. So without the app you don’t have any ideas. Finally I saw ppl picking up order at another counter. I went there and to my surprise there were many employees there filling bags with food. After 5 min. Timed it on my cell. One looked at me I explained my situation and wow he asked me to seat myself where he could see me my meal would be brought to me like it has been done at this McD since I 've had permanent and visible health issues. So I did as instructed. 20 minutes later he finally brought me a bag of food and my coke. Well ladies and gentlemen I DID NOT GET MY BIG MAC TRIO It was a regular double hamburger 2 very thin patties ketchup a pickle slice that's that. Of course everything was cold not even remotely warm. No COLD the place was now packed full every single order seemed to be wrong as now all the customers were yelling, children were running everywhere except in the playroom that was empty. Parents were too busy emptying and checking their orders before leaving to reign any children. So I decided to meekly eat what served and shut my mouth. I sure wasn't going to join the revolution going on. After most customers left, I tried to see what was available for dessert has I had been advised that the ice-cream machine was broken as well a the one for smoothies. Just then BAM another howling match erupted between customer, employees and the UBER guy trying to pick up the orders for deliveries. So I again sat in my little corner and waited it out. Till it calmed a bit then followed a big strong mean looking customer outside. See the argument was blocking the only edit. If you value your health both mental and physical DO NOT GO THERE. IT'S NOT WORTH THE HASSLE THE FOOD IS BAD PERIOD SERVICE ...
Read moreAfter going to this restaurant dozens of times, I think the last time I went (being yesterday) was one of the worst experiences. I made an order at the interactive ordering stations, got my receipt and went to the counter. My first observation was it being jam packed. When I was at the counter, the manager told the employee to stop taking orders and basically screamed at me and a guy behind me to go take out orders at the interactive ordering stations. The guy behind me passed me and took my place or so I thought. The manager came a second time and screamed the same thing a second time so the guy that took my place took my defense and told him that I had already ordered and they should come and take my receipt. Eventually someone did come and took my receipt and it took about 10 minutes for my order to be prepared. The mean was mid: fries weren’t completely cooked and the wrap was missing ranch. I didn’t like the fact that the manager was screaming at customers and employees tho. The bathrooms were decently clean and the restaurant was clean as well. The parking is decently big but because of the snow mountains blocking most of the parking spots, they’re limited. The drive thru is busy almost all day sometimes. There is a playing area with slides and tunnels for children to play in and there are also 1-2 tables...
Read moreThe first issue I faced was the extended wait time for my order. Despite it being a relatively straightforward order of a Spicy Beef Poutine (without onions) and two hamburgers, I was made to wait for an unreasonable one and a half hours. Such a long delay is unacceptable and discourages future visits.
Upon finally receiving my order, I discovered that it was incorrect. Instead of the Spicy Beef Poutine that I had requested, I was given a Spicy Chicken Grilled Poutine. Moreover, the two hamburgers were cold, severely impacting the enjoyment of my meal. It was incredibly disappointing to wait such a long time, only to receive an incorrect and substandard order.
The final issue was with the monetary transaction. I handed a $20 bill for an order amounting to $13.75. Instead of receiving the correct change of $6.25, I was given a mere $0.25. This is not only frustrating but is also a significant error on the part of the cashier.
I attempted to resolve these issues by contacting the restaurant several times today, June 25th. Unfortunately, despite my numerous attempts, there was no response from the store, which further compounds my dissatisfaction with this...
