can honestly say I’m one of the biggest seafood boil fans, and this place was very good! The seafood was delicious, and everything was cooked really well. The mussels were absolute perfection. The crab was a little skinny—I wish it had more meat—but overall, the food was amazing.

The medium spice sauce was very spicy. I don’t have the best spice tolerance, but you wouldn’t expect medium to be that intense. I’d be scared to try the extra spicy! The sauce itself was really flavorful, though.

One thing I would change is the tables—they’re designed in the dumbest way, basically leaning so that one person always ends up getting splashed. I was the victim of the sauce splash this time. Besides that, the seating in general felt a little uncomfortable. I wish they had bigger tables to make it easier to enjoy such a messy meal.

The vibes of the place are cute, very nautical, which makes sense for a seafood spot. But I feel like the staff could be warmer—it made thr atmosphere feel a little bit cold and not super inviting. Not that anyone was rude, but it just had a kind of detached feeling. Maybe because it’s mostly teenagers working there, even in the kitchen?

Also, they should have pitchers of water on the table because seafood makes you really thirsty.

Overall, it was a great place, and I enjoyed my time there! Just think it could be even better with a few small changes. Super cute spot—hope it lasts, because places on Monkland don’t always...

If you're on the hunt for a delightful culinary experience that won't break the bank, look no further than Mr. Cajun! Their fish and fries are nothing short of spectacular.

From the moment you take your first bite, you're greeted with perfectly seasoned, crispy golden fries that are a cut above the rest. The fish, cooked to perfection, is tender and juicy, encased in a delectable, crunchy coating. Each bite is a harmonious blend of spices and textures that transport your taste buds straight to the heart of Cajun country.

What truly sets Mr. Cajun apart is their commitment to quality and affordability. Despite the high-quality food, the prices are incredibly reasonable, making it a fantastic spot for both quick lunches and relaxed dinners with friends and family.

The staff is friendly and efficient, ensuring a pleasant dining experience every time. The cozy, welcoming ambiance adds to the overall charm, making it a place you'll want to return to again and again.

In summary, Mr. Cajun is a hidden gem that offers mouth-watering food at wallet-friendly prices. It's a must-visit for anyone craving a taste of Cajun cuisine without the hefty price...

I ordered from UberEats, but for some reason it shows up as Sexy Crab on the app. I have to give 4 stars because the food arrived cold and the mussels were pretty tough. Other than that, everything was very delicious.

The price is fair, especially with their promotion where you get ½ lb of shrimp with rice when you spend $40. I chose the medium spicy Cajun sauce, and it was perfect in my opinion. The rice was a little soggy but still good, the corn was cooked perfectly, and the shrimp were spot-on—flavorful and tender. The crab was tasty as well, but make sure you have something handy to crack it open.

Overall, a solid Cajun seafood spot—I’ll definitely try again, hopefully with a hotter...
