Pizzéria NO.900 - Monkland, Montréal — Restaurant in Montreal

Went out with my friend and we sat at the front window. I had asked for this spot after reading a review where it stated that the resto was very warm and that the best spot would be there if we didn't want to over heat. Well we over heated there. There was a heating source under the window ,under our counter. It made for a bit of an uncomfortable time. I had to peel off a few layers as the evening progressed. As well I read that the music was quite loud and that it was difficult to hear ourselves talk. That was true. I was right next to my friend and I constantly had to pull in in order to hear her. But those two issues were it. The food was delicious, salads were yummy, the pizza I had was delicious and just enough for a light meal. I took the smoke meat pizza,( a first for me), I enjoyed it . I was told that it might be a bit spicy but a side from one bite that had a bit of a zing the rest was OK. I ended up drinking a lot of water mostly due to the heat in the room. My friend liked her meal as well. Over all it was a good night out . The staff were very courteous and polite. They served us well but not overly hovering. I detest it when staff hover and are constantly coming to see how everything is. And offering water every to seconds.( although that night water was welcomed) but I made myself known when I wanted more. They came right away. I feel that a good wait staff can observe its clients and anticipate their needs from a far without having to hover. Also I always feel that those that do hover and over attend are possibly doing it to show how attentive they are to us and therefore now you can give us a bigger tip. Possibly I'm over reaching here but it has been my experience in the past. I prefer to call on a wait staff when I require assistance. If they show up within a reasonable amount of time then I appreciate the service. So there you have it . A good meal nice people working there and my date all went well....

I went in today to have lunch with a friend. Everything was business as usual. When the check came we were told credit card payments were not being accepted and they were only taking cash as they were experiencing issues and they had tried different machines, called the server and nothing was working. Clearly this issue had been going on for hours and we were not informed when entering the place nor during our meals. We were told we needed to go get cash nearby an ATM and pay that way. If I was informed this was the case, I would have not chosen to eat there that day or if I at least would have been given a heads up during our meals or before, I would have made arrangements to get cash before given we were short on time. We were only informed about this problem when we got the check, so I agreed to walk all the way down the street to get cash. As I was getting up, the waitress ran to our table and told us, in a rude way, one of us needed to stay to make sure we did not ran away. This was so uncalled for, we had already politely agreed to go get cash, even though it was inconvenient but the waitress really made us feel uncomfortable by that comment. My friend was only going to the bathroom and I was the only one putting on a coat. I understand situations happen all the time but I was very disappointed with this customer service and the way it was addressed as it reflects poorly on the restaurant. I really wasn't expecting this from Pizza 900 of all the places on Monkland. I wouldn't feel comfortable going there again after...

Good atmosphere nice music.

Service was quick But Waiter rebuttled when asking for bread which is always served. This time me and my friend didnt get so asked the waiter for some bread he said its being made and we wont need it since pizza coming???

Pretty amateur to argue with a customer about bread and to decide for us whether we should get bread or not?

My friend asked for parmesan you would have to take a microscope to see the amount in the bowl when he asked for a bit more he said he would be charged???but then the waiter said he would make the exception???! All this after giving parmesan the size of a pea and arguing about bread??

Parmesan didnt even look highest quality wasnt parmesano raegano and if the restaurant places comment the amount of the parmesano was laughable.

Pizza looks good on the plate but

You cant cut it So rubbery and if you lift the slice it fallls down a good pizza the crust stays firm when lifting and the toppings dont fall off.not cooked enough not the crust but the mozzarella I had a margharita cheap on the cheese and not melted enough.

Both me and my friend had stomach issues after. we ate we paid and and i was a lady left the waiter the right service amount.

Not going back ppl we can do better i live close to area so its convenient but will drive that extra mile to go to a better pizzaplace. Its too bad cuz the...
