Key takeaway: MuchoBurrito should pick their franchisees better.
Where to begin... Employees are trembling at the thought of making a mistake with a draconian boss. Asked for a kids burrito but unwrapped and was basically yelled at as a customer. (I stood there in awe) They count every rice grain they give you afraid they will get yelled at for giving away too much produce. Attempted to charge me 1$ for a tortilla that I would have gotten with the kids meal anyway but asked on the side. Counted every nacho chip they gave away with a kids meal, took some out of the bag after boss judged it to be too much for a kids meal. Gave regular salsa pack 125ml instead of 75ml pack... reopened a stapled bag to exchange it with smaller salsa pack. Accidentally toasted two kids size tortillas instead of one, walked back, unwrapped aluminum foil, took out second tortilla and threw it out as it was tossed. Do you need any more reason to never go back again?
Note to owner:
I seriously dare you to: A. NOT comment on this point with a pointless “thank you for your comment david, we will look into this situation IMMEDIATELY” and apologize instead to every single customer that has taken the time to write a review and whom you blatantly instilled by your inaction.
B. Learn to respect your customers because they’re the ones paying high prices for an experience the brand you bought into wants to offer us.
C. Learn to respect your employees because they’re the ones that pay with their time to make or break the customer service that will get people through the door.
D. Take some restaurant management training, because of points 1-7 and item A.
E. If all else fails, sell out and buy some stocks, it’s the only way you’re going to break even on your franchise investment.
There... saved you some management consultancy fees.
Finally: I will be writing to muchoburitto about what I have witnessed to advise them that their brand isn’t being portrayed to its fullest potential, and that customers in Dorval area are not afforded the opportunity to enjoy good Mexican food.
Best of luck with...
Read moreHello dear owner,
I would like to point out my experience at your mucho burrito. This was my first time trying at this location. The date was October 9, 2021. The time was around 12 PM. The supervisor was not providing good service. He did not let me talk when I wanted to clarify the payment and refund details. He even forgot to give me my churro(which I paid for already). He said to other employees, “don’t listen to him. You don’t have to talk to him.” I honestly was so excited to try this food on holiday. But all I wanted to do was to leave the place and never come back. I took the food and therefore not asking for refund but please have justice in this matter. Your supervisor is not good and customer repellent. One of the employees was good. She tried to explain the situation to me but the supervisor didn’t give me proper treatment.
I can not give less than a star here but it was awful. I see you respond to the complaints here and give fair justice to your customers. I put faith in you. Please let me know how we can resolve...
Read moreI have eaten at two different locations of mucho burrito, the one in marcher Centrale and this one (cote vertu)
Let's start with the customer service, some employees were nice however it seemed they were instructed to be very frugal on toppings and portions, u can tell some employees were embarrassed to be serving such a. Little amount of lettus, veggies, Pico de Gallo etc. I asked for lettus in my bowl and was give three 2 cm by 2 cm pieces of lettus.
There was a women who was trying to push me to buy more then I asked for, which is fine however she kept a watchful eye on portions control.
The Marche central location was completely different, you can tell theirs is a successful location, they fill up Ur plate u never need ask more of anything and there is no pressure.
In conclusion if you want to have a good experience at mucho burrito I recommend the marcher...
