My husband and I have always loved Ottavio St. Laurent. We have tried the St. LEONARD and Laval also. But, the St. Laurent has always been our favorite, up until March 31, 2023. I was ordering from the lunch menu, and I asked about the "meatballs at 3.00$ (how many do I get). When I asked the (water boy) he said, "Ask your waitress. She is the expert and will tell you." So, I asked the waitress (we were 3 people) in total at our table. The waitress said "3 or 4 meatballs," so I ordered 3 times the meatballs for a total of 9 or 12 meatballs at 9.00$. When the meatballs came to the table, it was someone else who delivered them. There was a total of 6 SMALL meatballs on the dish. I called for our waitress back at our table, and she now looked embarrassed and said, "No, it 3.00$ for 2 meatballs." Neither she nor the water boy ever came back to our table to see if we needed anything, like water or bread. So, I said to her to take away the meatballs because I wasn't ready to pay 9.00$+tax+tip on 6 SMALL meatballs. With this, I had ordered "penne pasta with Boulogne meat sauce." My dish came back with very little meatsauce and not much pasta like all the other times that I have ordered the "penne/Boulogne sauce" at this same location. This will definitely be our last time at Ottavio St. Laurent district. Very sad, because this was our favorite place for me, my husband and friends when we'd eat out. I would have given a 5* but giving a 3* because of what this waitress did to us. If she wasn't sure, she...

If you any kind of food allergies or intolerances whatsoever, don't expect Ottavio to care.

We ordered from Ottavio twice in the last 2-3 months:

The first time, we ordered a pizza that was supposed to be dairy and egg free (we ordered the Vegan Sicilian) - but instead received a pizza with meat and regular dairy cheese. My spouse ended up getting pretty sick due to their mistake.

The second time around, we figured we'd give them a second chance - they somehow still managed to mess up 2 of the three pizzas we ordered:

Pizza #1 was a vegan napolitana - we received yet another pizza with real cheese but thankfully noticed it before eating any. Pizza #2 was asked to be without olives and without hot peppers - both of which were much included on the pizza.

TLDR: we won't be ordering from here ever again as visibly someone illiterate is receiving and putting in the order for the kitchen - out of 5 pizzas, they've only got 2 right. Impressive.

So whether you care about how your order is prepared, or whether you have allergies or intolerances, stay clear - they don't seem to care or understand how...

I ordered a pizza on which there was goat cheese and mozzarella. I asked if they can omit the mozzarella and add more goat cheese. I got the pizza as requested, about 2 table spoon of goat cheese crumbs sprinkled on. When I get my bill, 6$ extra charge for the “more” goat cheese that replaced the mozzarella ?!? That more was hardly a table spoon more! When I dispute it, the server asks the manager whose response was “that’s the price.” The Manager didn’t even have the professionalism to come in person and address the dissatisfaction of their customer. My response was, then this is my last time here. Along with the 15 other friends that accompanied me. Not a very nice customer service. To gain that 6$, you lost some 15 customers. Do the math. While I acknowledge that cost and prices have gone up, but a table spoon of goat cheese crumbs is not 6$. That’s pure theft, and not good customer service. Not trying to be cheap, my bill was 50$, but that 6$ was not right. This is the first time ever I write a bad review. I am...

Good place to visit for a family dinner or birthday party. Not too fancy, just enough for some comfortable night out. 70% of the customers are elderly people, so it reminds a lot to Casa Crecque for its environment. Mostly calm music. Customer service is good, but a bit slow. We walked in the restaurant and had to stand for some time until girl greeted us while it was pretty empty. The food was okay for the price. We had Linguini Pear Capicollo Pasta and Opa! Pizza. I liked the pasta, it was quite flavourful, but the sauce rosé tasted a bit basic like poured from those Maxi cans for 5$. Pizza was VERY oily, greasy and salty. Little suggestion for the Pizza, switch Pesto sauce to regular Marinara and it would be very tasty. There is too much salt and olive oil even withour Pesto, so it make it more edible Otherwise don't really recommend the pizza. Location is easily accessible. A lot of Free parking in front.
