Jean-Drapeau — Local services in Montreal

I was very impressed at how quickly we were able to get on a train in spite of the gigantic F1 crowds. We visited Montreal from the US and stayed downtown. The line for the subway basically started at our grandstand at the hairpin. We were shoulder-to-shoulder in the crowd the entire time from our seat to the train, but it was so smooth and steady. We never stopped shuffling our feet from our seat to the train and we got right on and out. I was so impressed how the massive crowd was handled! I expected to be stuck for hours and hours trying to get a train, but even with tight crowds after the race ended it was only a 45 minute-ish trip back to our hotel downtown. Amazing!

Best outdoor dance picnic in town, double over lapping and sequential venues. Brilliant location due to maximum sun exposure but shade is aways around. The music is pretty much electronica with other styles weaved in. Uplifting vibe, great looking people with food/alcohol sold on premises.
