Pho Maisonneuve — Restaurant in Montreal

Poor experience and the levels of disrespectful is incredible. The restaurant is dark and sketchy. I came in, the server doesn’t even bother. He told me I can sit wherever i want, sit and no greeting, no menu for few minutes. Asked him if he could give me a menu, then he handled over the dirty menu the other customer just gave back to him. Order the food and drink, wait for more than 30 minutes just for him to came back to ask me what did i order again. Then gave me the wrong food, I ordered the beef with fries, but at this point i just want to finish and get out of this restaurant. The water smells weird, the home made lemonade is just Walmart syrup, and tasteless, also the lemonade cup is dirty. The food is decent but again, not what i order. Then came to check out, despite i waited in line first, he decided to serve two other before me. The whole experience is horrible and no word to describe the server’s attitude. I didn’t tip, left, this place should have a food safety investigation 👎 Also after i sat 30 minutes there waiting for food and drink, my phone is dead otherwise i could have take a picture of the dirty lemonade cup. Came here for an early dinner with my boyfriend, not expecting too much because the outside of the restaurant didn’t look impressive but the food was so tasty! The rice dishes come with a very small pho appetizer, as well as a spring roll, side salad, and a cookie at the end of your meal. I got the bún thit nuong, vermicelli rice noodle bowl with grilled pork and fresh veggies, that also came with a great fish sauce. The grilled beef and chicken with rice had a smoky charcoal taste as well as a sweet and savoury marinade that complemented each other very well. Weird and sketchy place. Went there for takeout at 16h on a tuesday (supposed to be open). when I entered all the lights were closed and the waiter was sitting and eating and didn’t even look at me.. I asked if they were open, and it took some time before he answered something (he was ignoring me like he just wanted me to leave..) Then he finally got up to take my order.
