One of my fav work haunts. I love the newly renovated space - it’s light, open, and airy. Kind of like a posh Instagram influencer’s dream space.
What I’m not so hot on is the music. Sometimes it’s great. Sometime it sucks. Sometimes it’s too loud. You just never know what you’re walking into... it can either turn you into a work powerhouse - or be a total distraction.
The muffins. CAN WE TALK ABOUT THE MUFFINS.
The berry muffin in particular is a showstopper. It’s so chock full of berries and most (I know, gross word, but still) it literally falls apart and begs to be eaten. And the crumble top staaaaahp it, too good!
Honourable mention also goes to the banana chocolate chip muffin.
I haven’t seen it in a while (might be seasonal) but the poppyseed lemon loaf should be outlawed for its addictive quality. Actually, maybe THAT’S why I don’t see it on the menu anymore.

Read moreUsually love this place. All the baristas are super friendly and nice to chat with. I reliably get a great drink made well every time I come in (a few times a week). The other day there was someone I’d never seen working who threw off the whole vibe (an older woman maybe mid 40s). She seemed friendly enough with customers but was rushing and stressing while making my drink. She also seemed to snap at the other people working which was very tense and weird to see. I’m not sure if she thought they were moving too slowly or doing something incorrectly but it was way more disruptive to have someone so visibly frustrated than it would’ve been to wait another minute for a drink. The chaotic energy felt more suited to a starbucks or fast food spot than the cozy local coffeeshop I’m used to. Hoping she was just a trainee (and there’s always room to improve!) but, owning a business myself, I’m always happy to receive feedback and wanted to...
Read moreGreat coffee and scones but not a very accessible space, it is too crowded with tables, no high chairs, i don’t recall there being a changing table. And no wifi... sorry but that’s pretty garbage... I bought my 5$ cappuccino, squeezed myself into a table, set up my computer and could not find the network so I squeezed myself back out, asked the barista and was told no wifi... so I downed my cappuccino and went down the street to Starbucks. I was on a deadline and needed to get about 30 min of work done before going to my other job... so basically waste of time and money. Maybe put a sign on the door- No Wifi so ppl don’t...
