Today me and my friend decided to go to this place for a dinner with our dogs. They do have a patio as most of the restaurants in the neighbourhood. But despite the fact that Laurier is one of the most dog friendly streets in Montreal, they are not. Our server told us that we can tide dogs outside so we did. But they kind of moved to the patio through the fence. That's when another person who works there stepped in (I forgot her name but Rosalie or something like that. Don't worry - if you see the rudest person in the restaurant that's for sure her). I actually moved my dog and tide her further but so I can see her, but that person ask us to leave. And! We just ordered, right? So she won't cancelled the order she brought the bill, asked us to leave and wait away from restaurant property. I absolutely disgusted but her specifically and the place all together. I live in this neighbourhood for a while now and the only experience I had in every other place on the steet is absolute positive. If I could rate that as negatives start I would. And on top of that our pizzas were burned. So this review coming from someone who dedicate 9 years to the service industry and worked in all sorts of establishments - from bars to high end restaurants, being a manager and an advocate for customer satisfaction all the time. I never ever would step a foot in that place again. Sort of my friend. And why would I? When a block away is another pizza restaurant. (Stella) with amazing stuff who loves and welcomes dogs on the patio, with friendly service and great food. Shame! Easily worst "dining"...
Read moreAs a semi regular customer here, I was very disappointed in my last visit. We ordered takeout with friends and our friends were met with a rude wait staff who laughed at them when they wanted to verify that their pizza order was indeed gluten free (due to allergies). When my friends went to open their pizza at the park, it didn’t look gluten free at all, so they called the restaurant who said they would deliver a new one to us BUT they needed us to give them the old, non gluten pizza. Ok? I’ve never heard of this, but sure. Maybe they deal with people trying to get free pizzas out of them? When they arrived with the pizza, they determined that in fact our friend’s pizza was gluten free and they left our friend with their original, now cold, and apparently gluten free pizza WHILE they took back the new, hot pizza. This was the owner who did this (delivered, then took back, the pizza). It would have been wise to give an explanation on the phone as to how the crust looks very similar to a regular crust. Or maybe to use a sticker on gluten free pizza boxes. Our friend couldn’t take a chance because of a serious allergy. Better communication would have avoided this mishap. So, we won’t be supporting this...
