Pizza 88 Express et Siddiquis (Halal) — Restaurant in Montreal

I used to order frequently from Mary Browns and Popeyes when I was in Ottawa. I was having problems finding a good halal fried chicken spot in Montreal. Thought of giving this a go since they claimed their fried chicken is the same as Popeyes.

Ordered boneless fried chicken, fried chicken and poutine with pepperoni.

Chicken order came with gravy. Just like Popeyes the gravy is useless. If you guys want to try good gravy try Mary Browns.

Fried chicken: I would say its better than popeyes right now, not amazing, but I will definitely be coming back. I never really had the fortune to have a decent fried chicken at popeyes since whichever location i tried it at, was very oily, so tasteless

boneless chicken: its good, almost great, needs to be spicier, but could be a little cheaper. I dont remember if popeyes is the same or has gotten worse, but i loved the strips over there,

Poutine. Its pretty bland, but then again, I didn't like the poutine at Popeyes as well.

I would give it 5 stars if you guys can make the fried chicken less oily, the gravy needs to be improved, and please provide a special sauce or any other sauce thats not ketchup for the fried chicken. Popeyes has their signature black ranch, you guys could try that or come up with something of your won.

I ordered two trio burgers with fries and drinks, but I received only the burgers and drinks and no fries. I called the restaurant and they said they couldn’t do send me the fries nor send me a refund. I paid 35$ for two small burgers that didn’t even taste good and half of my order was missing with no compensation. Plus I had to order another meal somewhere else. What a waste. Terrible experience.

Update: It’s been 6 days and I still haven’t gotten the refund, nor the missing items. What they commented below as a response was just to save face and look good but they didn’t do anything to fix the problem. If I order something I expect to get what I ordered, it’s not complicated. They took my money and didn’t give me what I ordered. That’s not just bad service,...

Best taste, best place for fast food. It's fresh and tastes fantastic. Would definitely recommend them,because it's our regular dine in and take out place. All the Pakistanis in Montreal, especially students, are the best affordable places to go to.

I will leave my old review as it is, but I'm turning down my rating for your service, as it has been multiple times in a row, you gave me specific time that the order will be ready for pick up. But once I reach to collect my order, they say, "Ohh! It is still going to take like 20-30 minutes extra. You guys need to speed up your services, or just tell the truth to the customers, how much time will it take to be ready. At least I don't have to wait ik this cold weather outside. Getting...
