Pizza Pizza — Restaurant in Montreal

While we usually order from here in store and get good service, we chose to order pick up from the online website. We put it the order and it said that the order was accepted and being prepared and when it was ready for pickup we went to collect it. Once arriving at the restaurant, we were told that the order was never received. We showed him the tracker on the website and asked how the website and the restaurant communicate. He told us he didn't know. He then said to order by phone and not to use the website, treating it as if we were at fault and being generally rude when speaking to us. I find it unfortunate that a large chain like Pizza Pizza offer an automated online ordering service but are unable to manage and take care of the system. I own a small business and was looking into a place that could provide with good service and good quality food for a staff party that I was holding. Customer service was immaculate, I got the help I needed to aid with my decisions and the overall cleanness/atmosphere was great. The employees should definitely get more recognition for their hard work and certain customers should understand that providing good food quality takes time. They should definitely be more respectful and understanding towards the staff; communicate rather than yelling. I took a buffalo chicken sandwich. The chicken was extremely dry so the Cook submerged the sandwich in sauce to hide their bad cooking skills. The service was good and the workers were Nice. The atmosphere was pretty awkward and not extremely welcoming but it was not horrible either. So i believe personnally that the restaurant is nothing special but is not bad either.
