A Taste of Home: 10/10 Experience
I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant today, and I must say, it was like taking a delicious trip back home to Nigeria. I ordered the Amala with ewedu and gbegiri, and it was nothing short of spectacular. The flavors were rich and authentic, perfectly balancing the smoothness of the Amala, the earthy goodness of ewedu, and the savory taste of gbegiri. Every bite reminded me of home-cooked meals, full of warmth and tradition.
The portion sizes were generous, and the meal was beautifully presented. The service was excellent, with the staff being both welcoming and attentive. It’s clear that they take pride in delivering authentic Nigerian cuisine that’s prepared with care and love.

There was also a weird aftertaste. The fried plantains barely had any seasoning.
I sincerely appreciate the owners efforts in making Nigerian food, and would love to leave a really nice review, especially since there are not so many restaurants like this. However, the food I ordered was substandard.
I’m editing this review to add that… there was NO PEPPER in any of the dishes...
