We wanted to discover a new café and found this place on the east side of downtown Montreal. Actually, not even sure if it’s considered downtown at this point. The interior vibe is quite nice . For the order, there’s a big menu billboard on the wall which you can choose from. The processes order your food at the cash find yourself a table and they bring you your food when it’s ready. It’s not necessarily super well explained so the first time you visit visit, it may feel a bit disorienting. We weren’t sure what to choose from the menu, so we decided to go with sandwiches, one of which was recommended by the cashier . We found ourselves a table and we served our coffee relatively quickly . Then we received one of the two sandwiches we ordered and had time to finish the sand before the other one arrived. Not ideal when you’re going to a brunch restaurant to eat together and have to watch the other person eating. we shared the first sandwich and exchanged bites on the second one as well. Perhaps there is a disconnect and communication between the cashier and the kitchen . It didn’t seem to be a problem the fact that the food came out with such a time delay. Street parking is available and it is paid . If you’re lucky you’ll find parking right in front...
Read moreI stumbled upon this charming café and was blown away by their canard confit sandwich. The moment I took my first bite, I knew I had found something special. The duck confit was perfectly cooked—tender, juicy, and bursting with rich, savory flavors. The balance between the crispiness of the baguette and the melt-in-your-mouth duck was simply divine.
The sandwich was complemented by a subtle hint of herbs, all layered with just the right amount of fresh greens. Each ingredient was thoughtfully chosen and worked in perfect harmony to create an unforgettable taste experience.
Not only was the food exceptional, but the ambiance of the café made the experience even better. Cozy, warm, and welcoming, it’s the perfect spot to enjoy a leisurely lunch or a quick bite with friends. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring that my visit was nothing short of perfect.
If you're a fan of duck or simply love a well-crafted sandwich, this café's canard confit offering is a must-try. I’ll definitely be coming...
Read moreFound this little gem this morning, and I was completely blown away. Had their ham and cheese brioche (with ham that they made themselves!!) with a mocha.
The sandwich was delicious, the mocha was sublime, and the service was stellar.
Had a chance to speak with the owner. I'm here following the mega ice storm that took out electricity in the city. She mentioned the measures she took to take care of her staff. Truly a humble and generous soul.
If you're looking for good service, good food, and a good atmosphere, look no further. May have been my first time, but will definitely...
