my kid is allergic to cinnamon... i ordered a shish taouk never did i heard they put cinnamon or mention to me once they use that ingredient i use to order at boustan laval kirkland all the time never have they use cinnamon in rice when i call the guy to explain to them respectfully about the order instead of accepting to change it for something else he said all boustan in the world put cinnamon i even called the other boustan to comfirm ( laval, kirkland,saint-jean and cote des neiges) all said they never use cinnamon in the rice. he was basically comparing his kid allergies to mine saying im the bad mother for not asking if the put cinnamon in rice( my first time ordering with them and i even mentionned to him i am ordering for the first time at your store and if the delivered since i never ordered before he could have mention to me but no instead i am the bad mother. i recorded the whole conversation. my child almost ate it if it weren't for me just because i wanted to put in a plate for her i smell that cinnamon. and the whole thing was disguesting experince as a first time customer and food delivery the guy was not satisfied with the 3.50 tips i gave him he asked for more when the delivery fee ( says the guy at boustan) cost 5$ never will i order again or recommend this place save your 23$ for...

It was my first time at Boustan and the workers were very nice and generous with the portions! Highly recommend the beef shawarma pita and the garlic potatoes! They prepared my order quickly and the food was very fresh even though it was close to 9pm when I ordered.

Edit: Disappointed this time. I ordered two plates and asked the worker if he made sure to put the pita in the bag. He said yes. I got home and we opened up the takeout and we found that only one of the plates had a pita. Also, they forgot both of the drinks that I had bought!! Really disappointed since we had a good experience the first time.

Edit 2: I went back to grab 2 plates last night, and it seems maybe the owner was there? Which I think increased the quality of service. Portions were more generous than usual and they gave me a sturdier bag to carry my food. The chicken was a bit dry though, but everything else was perfect. Fast and efficient. Everytime I've ordered from here the rice wasn't cooked enough and the chicken was very dry, but I didn't complain, one time I got a meal with a hair inside of it and they remade it which was very sweet but right after that, in the end of April, I ate half and then noticed an ant 🐜 inside my food but when I called, the man told me he didn't believe it and that he couldn't give me a refund. This plate costs 20$, and on top of that, they do not wear any gloves, which is disappointing and no hairnets specific for their beards, which is very gross. It is clean ish but the only Boustan close while away from home, so.. it is unfair, and just because it happens in a row doesn't mean it is my fault nor that I'd be lying like, please.
